Rockets win total prediction before season: Vegas: 27.5 wins Apache: 25 wins ESPN: 18 wins NBA and ESPN may be fandangling this together. Just saying, don't be surprised if the Rockets with the help of the refs don't win another game. The books might be cooked?
I've always said the players make the coaches look good or bad. Bickerstaff sucks, but his players are better than people thought. They were predicted by Vegas to win 26.5 games before the season started. Bickerstaff would be stinking it up if he were with Houston and ordered to lose games. https://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/win-totals/ Luke Walton looked great as fill in for coach Kerr.....stunk it up with Lakers and then Kings. And so on, and so on. Silas will look much better next season with these players trying and the new addition(s) from this upcoming draft. No code red on killing the season. But hey, Jason Garrett got 9 seasons with the Cowboys and never could figure out clock management and rotations. So who knows.
MOST TEAMS AND NBA PLAYERS coaches and management DONT REALLY CARE..... theyll do the same next year...and the excuses will be ...its only summer league....its only early in the season....we didnt have the full squad at the training camp...its only regular season...its right before the tradeline....its just after asb......its only so and so games left...etc etc its his first year as a hc...its only his 1st year post corona its this its that
This team is bad, but it's not because they don't care. It's because they are really young and inexperienced.
I cry every night I see Silas still coaching this team. Seriously, what does it take to get fired as a head coach of the Rockets???
McHale was fired for going 5-9 or something like that after playing the western Conference championship. Silas is 34-132 and seems to have a lifetime contract with the team. Only reason he is hear is because Houston has the weakest and worst fanbase in US Sports and not only accepts a coach with this horrific record but defends and makes excuses for it. Just imagine if a team like the Cowboys kept a coach with a 34-132 record….there’d be riots in the street because that city expects and holds their team and coaches to a much higher standard.
When I watch him play, it's like seeing someone put a square peg in a round hole. Not a fit for the future.
I actually loved watching the end of the game! I was in a great mood that the Nets had lost and then watched the Rockets chunk bad shots (which was clearly intentional) to get the loss was beautiful. Man I hope we get the top pick this year!! 2 More 1st Round Picks here we come baby!!
no its far more than that, playing sengun 5 minutes a night, or 12 minutes a night, wood not being able to set a proper screen , to box out or play defense, or danuel house being a playmaker alongside sengun has nothing to do with being young and inexperienced.... its exactly what i did say they dont care...no motivation no stimulation to do the right thing.. no accountability... you dont really know the true meaning of CARING... it doesnt mean being pissed off when you miss a logo 3 pointer early in the shotclock... CARING means never taking that shot in the first place... caring means nwaba working the entire summer on his 3 pt shot instead of doing a fake hustle thing running around like crazy and hitting the floor on 50/ 50 balls... caring means stone not even giving nwaba the contract if hes not gonna work on his 3 pt shot... caring doesnt mean you suspend KPJ when he exits the game on HT it means benching him when hes not attacking the rim and not passing to sengun when hes having his man sealed off under the rim... TAKE THAT FOR DATA
lol we would have gotten 2 FRPs regardless lololololol its just a matter of how high we gonna pick yanis pick no 15 middleton pick no 39 holiday pick no 17 bobby portis 22 nwora 45 serge ibaka 24 brook lopez 10 wess mathews - undrafted connaughton 41 thanasis ante 51 grayson alen 21 bembrey 21 jevon carter 32 george hill 26 PS TAKE THAT FOR DATA
What you are talking about it maturity and an understanding of what it takes to succeed. They don't get that. Wood doesn't understand that his screens are hurting the team. Nwaba doesn't see that his 3 point shooting is holding him back and that he needs to improve it or he'll never truly have value. Issue isn't caring, it's knowledge.
At some point you have to hold Green accountable. It's wasn't just this game and this quarter, it's been alot of games. He's just timid.
When I watch KPJ, I actually think he'd have been great in another era. Late 90s/early 2000s when iso ball like Francis was popular. He'd have fit right in: long dribbles, tons of hesitation, inefficient from the 3 point line and FT but okay driving and can make an occasional middie. In the modern era where you need effective 3 point shooting, quicker decision making, and orchestrating fast off-ball movement, he's going to be a bad PG.
Haha. All these people were so happy to get rid of Harden. They forgot how teams look without a superstar. Get used to losing until we hit the lotto with one of our young guys, and then spend a couple of years developing him. The sixers had 5 straight losing seasons before they had a winning record, and 9 seasons before they became contenders. That is because they took a major gamble with Embid's health and won. If Embid went the Greg Odom route, they would still be losing.
