Actually, this is one of the games I give them a chance to win before the Wizards come to town. I just have a feeling the Blazers might lay a big egg tonight, especially after the way they got the stuffing beat out of them last night in Indy. Plus, the Cavs have played decently the last 2 games and should be ready to grab this one.
Yeah Blatche is a guy the Wizards have been trying to move. His basketball IQ just isn't good and he's shooting 42% which of course is pathetic for a PF.
I know what I said earlier in this thread but now I must say I don't see how you can be an NBA team and lose 24 straight. Wow
um, i meant tonight. by the time they meet on the 13th, either of those 2 streaks may be over already.
Ditto. It's truly inconceivable to put that poor a product on the floor. Like the Cavs announcer said, they won 127 games the last two seasons. Now it's 24 losses in-a-row and 34/35. Next Wednesday I predict the Cavs will beat the Pistons at home. They fought back against the Pacers, did better-than-expected against the Grizzlies and played the Blazers tooth and nail tonight. Their level of play is going the right direction.
Yup I know they have had injuries but this is unbelievable. I wouldn't be shocked if they beat Detroit but even Detroit seems to be playing a little better now.
yeah it's funny, when you're sorta bad, you can occasionally catch some teams slipping and pull off the upset, but when you're just downright awful, you probably end up getting close to everybody's best effort because they know they can't afford to have a loss to you and it just makes your record even worse.
2 Epic streaks are still alive my friends ..... Cavs now on a 25 game losing streak. Wizards still 0-25 on the road . One of them has to end on Feb 13 , when they meet @ Cleveland.
The Cavs still play the Pistons and the Clippers before they play the Wizards. Their streak could be over before Feb 13th.
I'd rather see the cavs streak end. Yeah both streaks are bad, but when you have a chance to go 0-for anything that takes the cake. The Cavs already have 8 wins, so it's not like they haven't won a game this season. The Wizards on the other hand have not won a game on the road. Imagine going 0-41 on the road this season.
Yeah, the Wizards inability to win a single game on the road is just baffling. They have a winning record at home. I went to the game tonight and saw them blow out the Bucks. I know teams typically play better at home, but with the Wizards it's like watching two completely different teams.
Just one more loss for the Cavs and the stage will be set for the defining game of the 2011 regular season!!!
