Maybe it was someone else who advertised it? I can't think of an easier way to ruin my enemy's party than advertising it on social media.

Fifth and Third Ward is probably as bad as you can get. But at least where I lived it was extremely hood.

    I lived in Sierra Pines.

I grew up in Copperfield during the 90s and still visit there (parents still live there) once or twice a year. Calling it anywhere near "ghetto" is just laughable. There's one or two small pockets within Copperfield that are a bit "eh", but overall it's a decent-to-nice middle class neighborhood that's fairly diverse. I never felt unsafe there.

Even the neighborhood in Cypress where this shooting occurred (which is about 5 miles west of Copperfield - in the 529/Fry Rd area) isn't ghetto.

When I think of "ghetto" in Houston, I think of Fifth Ward.

It really is time to evacuate Katy, which by standards established in this thread is now ghetto.

Hmmmm. Will have to Google this "Nicole Ray" person to research this whole thing some more.

Yes, but their parents think they're innocent so obviously the police have the wrong guys.

You forgot Quanell X thinks they're innocent too. Once we get Shelia Jackson Lee to chime in we'll have the trifecta.

Quanell X gets paid to be outraged over something he doesn't care about at all.

Two of the dead were from my high school.
That's three gun related deaths for Morton Ranch in a month.

Media was probably blowing it out of proportion. Most likely the party was advertised to all friends on twitter and/or facebook. Not random people everywhere in the area. That's how invitations are done now-a-days.

Yeah, I remember reading that someone said they hired him for something and then he left for something higher profile soon after.
I didn't realize that's how that stuff worked until then. Despicable.
