LOL Chicago would have no problem trading Brad Miller if they are getting back Carlos Boozer AND Rudy Fernandez.

The other trade is a lot better for us than this one, we would get cap relief and players that have value.

I would rather have Landry than a headcase like Ty Thomas. He's a poor man's Josh Smith or a rich man's Stro Swift - whichever.

Not sure about this trade. Fesenko is a ?! to me. Ty Thomas is a good athlete, weakside shot blocker, and have developed a decent mid-range jumper. But the last time we had a similar powerforward with a similar pedigree from LSU come thru, we traded him in a package FOR Battier. How well does Ty Thomas play against the bigger PFs (P. Gasol, Duncan, Stoudamire, Nowtzki)?

all the shane haters are getting excited...

this move would destroy the defense the rockets pride themselves on...

Trading Battier? Even with those guys? WTF

If that's true, I will just stot calling Morey as god. I will just quit supporting Rockets. I would rather support Astros farm system.

    What an awful trade proposal.

In terms of overall production, I think a frontline of Battier/Landry > T. Thomas/Fes. Morey has already said that we won't be getting 7 footers just for the heck of it. I like Fes but he's essentially a d-leaguer not worth giving up a starter and a great rotation player.

Deal, IF we get NY's pick.

If that's the case, pull the trigger, Morey.

We get cap relief (somebody do the numbers) and two lottery picks in a strong draft.

After this season, we increase our chances of landing a big time FA, team up that FA with Yao + Ariza, and get 2 solid rookies to add depth and potential future stars.

    Do it DM!!

jerome james, not surprised you don't know him. he hasn't played in a couple of years despite making 6m a year. one of isiah thomas's biggest mistakes.

I just misread the Tweet, thinking a JJames from our roster was going to the Jazz. I remember Jerome having a decent year with the Sonics, then cashing it in with the Knicks.

the other thing is, we might not be a great team on offense but we'll be an elite team defense if shane is around.

Does nobody realize that Trevor Ariza is on the roster and plays the same position as Battier. The minutes aren't going to be there for both of them because neither really belongs at SG.
