I was watching the game and didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary for those 3 jokers.

We need broadcasters that are actually NBA junkies. Bill and Clyde are on auto-pilot and approach their jobs like Stanley from The Office approaches his. Heck, I'm pretty sure Clyde doesn't even watch the Rockets away games. They don't know the stats, skills or even names of the opposing players and have no special insight to share about the Rockets players. It's just the same script every game.

6 pages on stupid twitter comments from some random people. I didn't know Ho Chen's entire extended family was on this board.

first thing these outside mother f'ers should know is that clyde laughs at anything, tragic or eternal happiness , it doesn't matter. secondly, they weren't making fun of the situation, clyde was just telling his story when he was hit by an elbow and woke up thinking what happened to the game..

    Nothing remotely wrong at all.

Seriously twitter is now used by overly sensitive char-cats fans to engineer fake controversies over laxk of decorum = why everybody should get off twitter

    this.

i heard it when clydle said that the situation is good for the rockets because the momentum was going to Bobcats. he said it in a basketbal context.

too bad those tweeters are plain bobcats fans.

I watched the video a couple times and there's nothing wrong with their comments. They didn't joke about it, Clyde was joking about his own injury back then.

    Bobcats fans are delusional.

As much as I hate Clyde and Bulls commentating, there was nothing wrong there.

Only good thing about not having CSN is I get to listen to other announcers.

Bobcats' announcers are beyond awful to begin with. There was one play where Walker drained a contested jumper after crossing over Garden, those 2 commentators giggled and talked **** for a good 10 mins. Completely ignored whats happening on the court after that play... Yes kemba is averaging 18 a game on the worst team of the NBA --- good numbers, almost as good as Ricky Davis.

Right who cares? Clyde played this game at a much "tougher time in the NBA" than now. Clyde didn't realize how bad it was, and thought MKG was a guy that always got back up. DWade got the commercials of "getting back up" when he was first in the L. I don't really even care that he said the momentum thing because he was speaking the truth.

Sorry the broadcasters didn't treat this like some NFL injury with shut silence!

Oh wait does the TWITTER world remember a much worse situation happening when Michael Irvin was PARALYZED, and the Eagles fans booed the situation. Please twitter world; go talk about the food you're eating.

Here is Michael Irvin talking about it. Didn't get the real live footage-http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cn_k--37ig I don't think MKG cares much TWITTER!

Clyde jokingly talked about the time he got knocked out. People are just too sensitive and looking for anything to complain about. Especially when they're losing.

I couldnt hear what was being said because a crappy internet feed I was watching it through. Its ridiculous that we're all questioning what was said because 60% of Houston still can't watch the games!!

    Someone's a little hypersensitive

rockets broadcasters were not speaking in hushed tones but were not being disrespectful either.

On the other side of it on Twitter, IS actual lack of decorum and etiquette but JUSTIFYING it as "no big deal" (the "ghetto" side of Twitter)

As usual, no middle ground. It tends to be the extremists who do the all expressing trying to represent the whole.

If MKG had walked off eventually, this would be a non-issue.

The angst around the severity of his injury is what is causing this retro-backlash at the Rockets announcers.

That being said, I hope he is alright and his health is by far the most important thing out of all of this. The Rockets announcers stupid comments aren't going to affect whether he gets better faster. Best wishes to MKG.

I'm willing to bet that the people on Twitter aren't Bobcats fans, but fans of the game in general.

That being said, I don't think anything the commentators said were offensive to the situation at all.

I do, however, feel as though the commentators should have at least praised MKG's stats and things like that, though. It would have given them a better light, AND given casual fans knowledge / stats of basketball not in Houston.
