Of course we still need CD. A head coach has to worry about the whole team, CD is still needed to baby-sit the likes of Thabeet.

Edit: By the way, now that Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting this, the "rumor" really has legs.

So McHale it likely is then. I'm ok with that. This is all for Finch. In 2-4 years, he'll be the new HC.

    Who's WE??? You're a Laker fan, GTFOH!

Every single post you've had about the Rockets has been negative so why don't you go ride Kobe's fishing pole till their season begins again.

This is fantastic news. The outrage and ensuing mayhem on the BBS alone will be entertainment enough to hold me until after the otherwise slow summer passes.

Interesting observation. I'm inclined to agree. Michael Lewis pointed out in Moneyball that great hitters usually make lousy hitting coaches because they try to get other players to hit like they did. The best hitting coaches usually weren't great hitters, but because of this, they approached the teaching process with a willingness to adapt to the idiosyncracies of the players they were teaching.

I don't know what was said in the interviews or what was uncovered during the research, but for the life of my I can't figure out why McHale would be the pick.

I'm not sure which will piss me off more; McHale being named the coach, or Poopsworld being the first with the scoop.

Or maybe its just a case of a broken clock being right twice a day.

I say just hire Chris Finch. No need to have him under apprenticeship if he's your man.

choosing between Mchale, Frank, and Casey...and I thought the end of the world scenario looked bleak and hopeless...

And now people are left to argue which of these guys will be chosen to set the Rockets back another 10 years or so...

Doesn't matter which one it is...

    damn I'm good

I'm not doc cocky but so far I predicted aaron brooks getting traded, adelman leaving , and now mchale... I did this all by myself guessing, and have no insider presence whatsoever.. I could pretend like I do ,and call myself something like bluto or olive oiley or something like that.
