    If there is any comparison to Sam Cassel, it is Patrick Beverley, not Lin. But even that, it is a stretch.

    Doesn't this go both ways?

    You know if Jeremy Lin was a good point guard there wouldn't be any Bev vs Lin threads.. The guy can't play point guard period hence why people think its better for Bev to take his spot. Yep LOF logic...

    I have no vendetta against Lin. I think his personal success can only help the Rockets, therefore I want him to be successful.

    That being said... there are no redeeming qualities to his playoff performance last year.

    Best that we wait until we get another sample.

    Is that a typo? The Bucks haven't been to the NBA Finals since 1974 while Cassell was a rookie in '94.
