Never said I wanted Gay - now or then.... personally, I understood the trade for Battier - we were trying to win then - not develop players... Simply sayin that people b****ed about the trade constantly as Gay showed promise - the same rhetoric we're all gonna hear if we trade away our young talent for a guy who will simply walk away in a years time...
obviously D12 is far superior to Battier... and when D12 walks after a year - will thaty make the assets we garnered from a D12 trade better or worse than what we garnered from the Battier trade?
