I've watched the show and have always been a fan...Last night SUCKED! Alan was gold and carried the show...It was basically an older Kelso with money...IMHO, the producers tried too hard to strike the same cord and just replace Charlie...can't do it...

Yes Charlie did the same thing over and over again, but you can't replace that with Kutcher...it wasn't very good and won't be watching...I'll just watch the reruns on FX

it's a roast, those jokes were nothing worse than what's been said before...and they were funny.

no, it was that dough-faced blonde who nobody has ever heard of. she was obviously trying to go the whitney cummings route and use the roast as a platform to break-out, get some attention and even parlay it into a crappy sitcom that wont last 6 months - and it worked - look at all the press she is getting over that ryan dunn joke. but imo she seemed to relish in the mean-spiritedness of it a little too much.

i agree - nothing should be off limits, but mocking someones friend who just died to their face is pretty brutal. and going after the diabetes black dude and his grandma was harsh too - he seemed more effected than steve-o.

again, i think the outrageousness was calculated - its the only way she could have gotten any kind of press and it worked.

Is this your first Comedy Central roast?

Everything is fair game. If you don't like it, don't watch. Everyone got paid. I don't see anyone returning a check.

Somebody made a joke early on (I think it was Seth McFarlane) directed towards Jeff Ross. It was basically the same joke using Greg Giraldo instead of Ryan Dunn. Nobody gave a ****.

I thought the Roast was funny. There were some jokes that had you shaking your head but I did laugh though.

As for the show with Ashton in it, I don't care for it now. I think Jon Cryer kinda held the show together last night but I expect this to be the last season. Folks aren't high on Ashton and that show was taylor made for Sheen period. Of course the ratings would be high for the first episode, but can it keep it up? I don't think so.

Agreed...All this news of high ratings...it was curiousity, period...without sheen, this show is nothing...Jon did a great job holding it together but without the back and forth, its lame...

Anyone keepin up with the new season?
Think they're really pickin up, liked the last two episodes. Jake is getting better and better and Ashton carries great humor(if you watched 70's show you appreciate him).

Lookin forward to the rest of the season.

Really? I think Ashton has been terrible in it. I'll keep watching, but I hope for the shows sake he gets better.

They really need to get the good cameos back in there. I always loved Jane Lynch in it, she cracks me up. Rose and Herb need to be in it more to take the pressure off Alan and Jake until Ashton improves. Wouldn't mind seeing Kandi back in there either, those knockers are glorious. In fact...

i dont like the show with ashton, it would be epic if charlie came back. they could say he faked his death to get away from rose.

Oddly, that show was funny, because of the supporting characters and the scenarios more so than Charlie Sheen.
