    There was a bad lynching there by the river back in the 1916 (almost 100 years ago!), but what else are you referring to? I've never noticed a lot of racial tension there among whites, blacks and hispanics, but I could see where a conspicuous Muslim wouldn't have a fun time there

    yeah I watched it. The guy playing the clerk was pretty over the top and didn't look like a local, if that makes sense.

    I don't know why, but I LOL when that older guy told the host, "You're not an American either!" as he was getting into his SUV. That sequence was just hilarious, IMO :D

    Have been. I still don't think it's that far off from your average small town America. If anything, I am guessing the town probably has more 'liberals' because of Baylor; the student body is likely more liberal than the average native resident.

    Waco actually has a pretty sizable minority community inside the city limits. Remember, their congressman is Chet Edwards, who is a libpig. He's got to find votes from somewhere...
