Yeah man, Im pretty sure it was midnight. I would say the location thing might be the case, but I live kindof close to the Galleria, in Meyerland.

This is one of the few times I'm happy that the Rockets are on 51 where they don't have anything better to run than Rockets reruns. I can't even set my VCR to record the game since Warner Cable decided to go around and recall all their digital cable boxes today *sigh*. Oh well at least I'll get to catch Yao's debut plausibly live.

The real question is whether or not Cox n Balls is going to give me the KNWS feed for that game. Last year I got about 1/3 of the away games, hopefully having Ming and some buzz will increase those numbers.

Tell me about it. I was going in tonight thinking I wouldn't get to watch, but then I heard ESPN News that " A lot of people will be watching Yao against SA on pay-per-view tonight" and "So go watch Yao play tonight." I was like . But then I checked the guide and like always....nothing.

STUPID ESPN NEWS MAKING ME THINK I HAD IT!

BTW, if anyone's curious, Chad Ford said they'll play Yao and just expect good D on Duncan and some rebounds and blocks, and not so much offense. I may say this in another thread where it is more relevent, though.

That must be it. I don't have cable, only the "regular old rabbit ears" to watch "regular old Yao Ming."

So the midnight Ch. 51 rebroadcasts are only available to those with cable, no? Can anyone confirm this? Link or something?
