The host is so horrible at keeping the pace and control of the show. I LOLed when he just threw his hands up after Simon wouldn't respond to him
I actually thought Drew went off key when she went for the big notes on her save-me song, whereas Marcus was a bit better tonally and showed a more emotional connection with his song. I preferred Drew overall, but she got out-sung tonight. I laughed at the way her parting "Jesus loves all of you guys" had the tone of "F--k all y'all."
There is going to be controversy over this save. I guarantee it. At the very least it reeks of cultural nepotism. Nicole hears Marcus's passion, but Drew's tears are dismissed? That's her reasoning?
Just one time, whenever a contestant is crying and Steve sticks the mic in his/her face and asks "How are you feeling?"... I want that person to say "Go **** yourself." Seriously, it's a really stupid question to ask.

Astro will be fine... he is too talented for this show and the moronic voters to hold him back. Drew basically got a signed contract from Simon tonight without winning so she will be fine too. Agree. Marcus was not only off-key. He actually cracked a few times during that final song. I was cringing through the last part because I was hoping he'd at least make it close. It was obvious that the two female judges made up their mind from the beginning. Who stands up from the get-go for one contestant and had their head in their arms for the other before the song even started? Drew lost a note in that high pitch and was definitely showing more. As soon as I saw the judge's reactions. I guess that's what happens when you have those two judges in the middle judge a voice. Marcus did not even do anything entertaining to help sway the votes.
Drew had one move, the half yodel thing. I'm gonna miss those choppers. Marcus need to remedy those chapped lips, he looks like his been kissing a bag of flour. Simon being all pissed off at the other judges was funny, in a romper room type way. Steve Jones makes Ben Stein look like MC Hammer. Stephen Hawking could do a better job.
