How was Lakoda Rayne eliminated? Did they just send them home to start off with, or did the judges decide between them and another act?
Lakoda Rayne and Leroy Bell. America doesn't like boring. lol If Chris Rene sticks around next week though, something's wrong.
Yeah, for some reason he has the teeny bopper female vote. If you look at him on youtube there are thousands of comments about how hot he is and how these teeny boppers want to marry him. Strange but he could go all the way with the bopper votes. But, I agree, his act is tired and other than "young homie" he has nothing to offer.
Just watched the results show. I must say: it went pretty much as expected. Lakoda Rayne and Leroy aren't exciting enough to generate steady votes. Next week is another double-elimination show. Look for L.A. Reid to lose 2/3 acts. Marcus and Chris Rene are definitely on the hotseat.
Paula just: http://www.destinyland.org/Fonzie%20smiles%20after%20he%20jumped%20the%20shark%20on%20Happy%20Days.jpg Astro is our past, present and future and his words are important. Gimme a break. Melanie had an insane vocal. But this show is pretty much trash. I do like Chris because at least when he does a song we knew we are going to get something original.
Michael Jackson night. A lot of contestants are probably f--ked.... Josh starts off with "Dirty Diana" and came a bit out of his shell. Good performance, but didn't really wow me. Don't know if it was my sound system, but I couldn't hear much of his voice. Not likely to be the best of the night, but a good start. Astro. i was wondering what the hell he would do tonight. Didn't really expect "Black or White" coming, but it worked. I kinda found the lyrics corny, but good message there. Energy was great. Really all I could expect from a rapper on MJ night. Another great performance from the kid. If he can keep the attitude straight he should be okay. The part where they showed him practicing his lyrics last week because he thought he would be bottom two showed that he's definitely learned some humility. I just started cracking up when I saw Drew sitting on that chair with the spotlight and she began singing a slowed down version of "Billie Jean." Simon is not going to let this chick f---k up and try anything different. I enjoyed her performance as much as usual, despite my giddy anticipation of LA's comments (he let me down, but Paula and Nicole came through). She is kinda boring me though. Don't get me wrong, I'd cop many of her songs when she puts out an album, but this isn't exactly entertaining. It's just safe. Simon needs to stop stifling his talent. Rachel's performance started off slow, but when she got down off the platform and got to exhibit some energy, the performance really improved. It's obvious she wanted to infuse her voice into the song, but fell victim to the Simon picking stupid-ass songs for his contestants bug going around tonight ("Can You Feel It?" Really? How the hell is she not singing "I Want You back," "I'll Be There," or "Who's Loving You"?). I don't know what the hell is wrong with his judgement, but he might get this girl voted off early. She's gotta start listening to the other judges and begin picking her own stuff. I liked Marcus Canty's performance... I think. I'll admit, I was actually dancing and not paying enough attention. "P.Y.T." is the sh-t. He didn't mess the song up. I think he flipped somewhere in there... Anyway, not bottom 2 material to me. MJ's kids are like statues in the audience. lol Not reallly feeling Chris Rene until the little rap-break in the middle of "I'll Be There." Started to make it more his own around there and got my head nodding a bit. Normally he's outclassed by the other guys, but tonight, mostly thanks to Simon, he's honestly somewhere in the middle. I would understand him not being bottom 2 this week (though I'd still put him there). Melanie is making her move these past two weeks, starting to separate herself from the rest of the contestants. She took "Earth Song" and knocked that sh-t out of the park. The girl is the X-Factor winner right here. DAMN. If Simon picked the song, he totally redeemed himself there. Someone on Twitter said this girl may turn out to be who Rihanna wishes to be. The fact that I do not feel that's hyperbolic says it all to me. Rankings: 1. Melanie 2. Astro 3. Josh 4. Marcus 5. Drew 6. Rachel 7. Chris Rene
Astro's "dooop" is so pretentious and idiotic. I so wish that the Voice would go head to head with X-factor because I'd drop this show like a bad habit. Micheal Jackson week? I'm sure the Beatles week will be next. This show consists of a bunch of old people that are out of touch with innovation in Music, they are so "safe" musically that it is hard to take. I keep saying this and keep watching this dumb show, thinking that it will change.
Man you are so negative regarding this show. lol. It cracks me up, but why are you still watching live? You could just wait for reviews and watch the good performances on youtube.
I'm a fan of singing competitions in general. But this show works my last nerve. LA saying I thought we were in a Melanie Amaro concert. Where did he get that original statement from? This show just bugs me.
two will go home this week... I think it will be Chris Rene and Astro... even though I think Astro's performance this week was one of his best
Chris Rene went through and two out of Josh, Astro, Drew, and Marcus are going home. lol. Gotta love it.
ya'll aren't factoring in the teeny bopper vote. All the girls like Chris Rene for some strange reason. I bet he's the leading vote getter each week.
