I think it might be a 2 hour show next week because The Cape is done and Chuck is taking the week off. EW has exclusively learned The Event is coming back on Monday, March 7, with a two-hour presentation, followed by Harry’s Law. I watched the final episode from November and this week's 2-hour deal and the show seems to have improved a little. Still doubt it's good enough to bring back for another season.
Half way through the show . . . I still don't like the fact that the Daughter and son in law are far far too lucky and beyond ubereffective when the whole government is ineffective. Rocket River

Really!? That chick's acting is pretty terrible. I mean, she looks good, very attractive but... Ohhhh... OK, never mind.
I still watch the show every week. Love that they took out the flashbacks, makes the story a lot easier to follow compared to the pilot, for example. And yes. Leila and Vicky are both insanely hot!
Is anyone still watching this? This last season has been awesome. I think the show will be concluding soon. I have really enjoyed the character development that has taken place with most of the actors (minus Leila lol who sucks at acting) The story has advanced in a way that has been fascinating to follow.
I think that the season finale is supposed to culminate with "The Event" (Sophia's people succeeding?) and they'll hope for a season 2 in which they start dealing with the aftermath.
I would recommend the show to everyone. The storyline has become so interesting lately. I love the whole "protectors of earth" (sentinel) thing.
I've watched all but 4 episodes; I think this show is terrible. I guess I'll finish it out but I don't see this show being renewed for a second season. I stopped watching when they some how were able to corner the vice president and threaten his life with a lipstick gun and a blond wig! Hour after Hour they continue to tell the audience what we already know; its really boring television.
You think it is terrible but you'll finish it out? Strange... Massively understating how that all went down. But your right, it would be impossible for imposters to get into a fundraiser and get that close to the VP. I mean, who has ever heard of anyone sneaking into a political event and getting close to our elected leaders? Sounds so fake. I wonder if that's ever happened? Do you think anyone has ever tricked their way into the White House and gotten pictures taken with the President and Vice President? LOL what nonsense! But you'll "finish it out" for some reason...
After it came back from Hiatus I really thought it hit it's stride, I think its really impressive in the 2nd half. Can't wait to see how they finish the season off.
This show has had it's up-and-down moments but overall I find it very fascinating. Especially now. 4 episodes left and things are really starting to get interesting.
