I also thought Kath and Kim was decent. Never watched the aussie version but Selma Blair was funny on the American one.

Figure Samantha Who's demise was caused by 7th Heaven Ex Barry Watson. All his abc shows seem to go by the wayside quickly. :D

Only reason to watch Parks and Recreation are for the beauty of Rashida Jones and for Aziz Ansari.

Unhitched. I found this show to be hilarious and was sad they canceled it.

It really isn't that weird when you think about time.

NBC has 15 hours Monday through Friday in prime time. Saturday is not good for a show like Earl and Sundays are slated for football. Out of those 15 hours, a third of them are dedicated to Jay Leno and his orgy of ego.

I did not particularly care for Earl, but it is frustrating that there are shows that many people enjoy that are getting canceled to allow that time slot for Leno. You could fill those 5 hours a week with 10 different 30 minute programs that would generate a more diverse viewership for the network.

    Dumb, dumb idea.

And they'll figure it out after about a month.

Weighed against the prospect of ABC putting Nightline out of its misery, getting Leno and making Conan's transition that much more difficult. They're probably also trying to put the screws to Dick Wolf: kill the original Law & Order series and Criminal Intent, then buy out (and re-brand) SVU. At least when competing with the other two networks, NBC seems to do such a not-horrible job with their original programming (SNL, Today, Tonight Show) that it's probably kinda difficult to not bet on this. Let's hope Zucker has either guest-hosting slots or an offer sheet for Jon Stewart (or Dennis Miller) in his desk drawer, once Leno gets bored (or boring).

Shows how much I watch TV nowadays, I don't even know anything about those shows except Prison Break (which I ditched halfway in season 2 because it was getting ridiculous) and King of the Hill (a show that grew on me over the years).

And it seems like Heroes is getting another season...(sorry I hate that show  )

Law & Order still does well in the ratings and does well for ad revenues. Criminal Intent isn't even on NBC, it is on USA. SVU has a very loyal fan following. I would not expect any of these shows to go anywhere.

When the Leno experiment fails, they will not replace it with more talk. They will replace it with actual episodic shows.

Do people actually watch Leno? I would watch Letterman, Kimmel, or Conan before Leno, not to mention the Comedy Central guys.

Yeah we already had this debate. There are a fair amount of Leno viewers including me.

Kath and Kim was a terrible show, probably the worst show in the history of TV.

I want another 7 seasons of Firefly and Futurama.

I guess now Jason Lee should be free to do a Magnum P.I. Movie

Hell Crab Man could play T.C. [ot Terry Crews since Everyone Hates Chris is done]

    Who could play Higgins

The major English TV Channel in HK showed these:

    Dirty Sexy Money*
    ER
    Life*
    Prison Break
    Pushing Daisies*
    Reaper*
    Samantha Who?*
    Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles*
    Without a Trace

They often bought great TV series from US, it's very rare that they have chosen those short-life TV series (those with asterisk above) in a roll like that.
