That was one of the best episodes ever, however it was not the series finale. There will be some episodes next season.
I can't recall a tv series in recent memory that started off strong and went to hell as fast as 'Earl' -- 1st season promising then unwatchable crap.
I'm not surprised about TSCC. This whole season was so boring... not until the very last episode did they decide to spring something fresh and unexpected... but by then, it's obviously too late. If they had made this season's finale last season's finale, this show would definitely have had a different fate... but oh well. The Terminator franchise is officially dead. Salvation bombed at the box office. TSCC is canceled. sad day indeed.
Life is AWESOME. I cannot believe they canceled it. Then again, its NBC. They canceled Boomtown, too. They'd rather force-feed us a bunch of painful Jay Leno crap.
...Firefly. If you won't accept that, Farscape. And if I can't choose sci-fi shows, Arrested Development.
I can't remember the name of the show but it was the one on Fox with Rashida Jones and the guy from Scary Movie 4. Funny show.
I'm going to miss My Name Is Earl and Everybody Hates Chris. Everybody Hates Chris was a sitcom that actually worked. Most sitcoms nowadays are trash but I really enjoyed that one. I was happy they were able to get a final episode in which Chris Rock paid an ode to the Sopranos ending. I also liked Sit Down and Shut Up. It featured the voices of a lot of cast members of Arrested Development. Its was actually similar in a animated, over the top kind of way.
Surpised to hear Scrubs is coming back .. Guess it will be more of a spinoff than a continuation, but thats my favorite show by far so I know I'll be watching.
Earl was good the first 3 seasons. Last season was getting a little stale but the least they could have done was give it a resolution. Doubt most of you will care about this but it sux that the CW is giving the axe to Everybody hates Chris and The Game. They jerked around both show the past couple of seasons and then they cancel them abruptly with no resolution. Kinda like what was done with Girlfriends. There's not many decent African-American focused shows on TV and the two that were actually decent the CW decides to axe em. Hopefully they get picked up but the only place I can think of is BET and I'm sure it would make Aaron McGruder shudder at what BET would do to both shows.
