Yeah, looking back, Rogan's meathead act on News Radio was not so much an act at all.

    Star Trek. TOS.

I decided to watch it on Netflix with my ex, because it just seemed like one of these shows one should watch. All you ever see about it are cheesy effects and Kirk and Spock jokes. What I found was a surprisingly-deep foray into philosophy, politics, human relations, statistics, and many difficult and interesting scenarios that you can't explore with a normal show. I'd say it was ahead of its time but that might not do it justice, because I don't think there are modern writers that could handle some of the topics it explored as dexterously as it did.

Rogan does not ruin it for me because I can see the evolution, he just brought that same character to life.

    Hartman way cancels him out.

Golden Girls, I love Lucy. Both shows were way ahead of their time.

Cheers. I watched Frasier ocasionally as a teen in 90s, but I was completely oblivious to Cheers. It was one of the first shows I binged after COVID hit, and it is easily one of the best shows I've seen this year (and there have been a lot of them!)

I recently bought and have been binging the live action Batman series. I didn’t watch Mr. Show much when it was on but love it now.

I didn't discover King of Queens until several years after it had been off the air. Now one of my all time favorite shows.

    All in the Family
    Rat Patrol
    Batman w/Adam West
    Dragnet

When I was a kid, I would stay over at my neighbor's house during the summer sometimes and his daughter and I would stay up as late as we could to watch Rat Patrol and Batman reruns. Fun times.

@Roscoe Arbuckle I remember my parents watching Barney Miller. I especially remember the Asian guy.

For me, it was Benny Hill. As a teenager I found it on around 9-10 PM on Channel 39 and would watch it for the split-second boob shot they always snuck in.
