Man, I binged this over the weekend and DAM................that was some good stuff. I have never seen a show where you see the woman giving birth, that was hard to watch. BY the time I was done watching I was exhausted, the entire cast was awesome and I cant wait for season 2.
Love Hurts 7/10 - I was hoping it would funnier but it was entertaining. I wouldn't spend any money watching it though. My favorite part was when Spoiler Drew Scott got shot in the head! And who knew Short Round has a second-degree black belt in taekwondo in real life?
Saw ‘Four Seasons’ on Netflix with Tina Fey and Steve Carrell. Was really disappointed with the tone of the series, was not funny at all, save a few lines and situations. The funniest bits were not necessarily involving either one. At least with Tina and her partner there were some solid back-and-forth scenarios that got some laughs. Steve is paired with Anne, which somehow feels very off, though by the end she steals the show for me alongside Danny, one of the best friends. It’s basically a limited series and I do like the setup of each season (spring, summer, autumn & winter) having a holiday with just 2 episodes for each. And it was more than enough, though I feel with better writing, better chemistry between the partners - Tina Fey’s character and Danny’s is great though - and a better execution of the plot with some more outrageous scenes and Steve being a bit more the character he always plays instead of being too timid and too awkward where he comes across as insecure and makes him unfunny to me. 4/10
Me too. Seems like a slow start, hit the skip button a bunch of times. Interesting enough to keep going though. Andor Season 2 btw, good but somehow not as thrilling as season 1. The show could have used more cooking time if season 1 is anything to go by. Has good moments, but hasn't been great yet.
I just started watching Superstore on Hulu and it's one of the funniest sitcoms I've seen recently. Very surprised by the type of humor in it. It also has these random, very quick, never-explained moments, like a customer finding his own face on cereal boxes.
watched all of North of North on Netflix. Really enjoyed it, glad it's been renewed for a second season
We just finished watching The Pitt and I'd give it a 9 out of 10! Easily the best series we've seen this year even if you're not into medical dramas. Each episode has enough story lines to keep you engaged but be sure to not be cutting any onions nearby.
I decided to watch Joey. Aside from the serious flaws, it does have a surprisingly solid cast. And two guest stars I did not expect included two major big bang theory cast members long before they made it.
It was based on that one, and I probably have to re-watch it as well.......I did not know before. It is not the humor for me but how those characters deal with each other. It is annoying but solid enough. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Four_Seasons_(1981_film)
Starting to rewatch The Americans. I dropped off somewhere after the 4th season so I'll hopefully get to finish the story. I forgot how good it is.
