Here's another shitcanned animated scifi yall mightve missed. No hopes on S2

 

One of the weirdest shows I've ever watched. Early on you could tell there wouldn't be a S2.

 

It's not a good show because they don't make good shows at AMC, right?

...and yet it's now a cartoon Netflix thing?

 

AMC doesn't even exist to me. Like most people, if they have a good show, I'll never know about it unless it shows up on Netflix.

 

Acquired shows or ones that aren't fully owned by Netflix can do better numbers than Netflix originals but mostly get cancelled after the first season.

The Residence Season 01 - 8.5/10
We just finished The Residence and if you like murder/mystery shows with a little bit of comedy then this is a good one. I would give it a higher rating but the first half of the series is a little slow but it was good plot/twist building.

 

For me, Reacher S3 wasn't as bad as many say. But I don't think it will ever top S1, which is true of many shows.

 

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

I've watched Deep Space Nine, The Next Generation, and Discovery. I still haven't watched the original series.

 

I liked Reacher season 3. Wasn't as good as season 1, but wasn't as bad as season 2.

 

Dope Thief is surprisingly good on Apple TV. Main characters are not good people, but somehow very likeable. Also, one of the most gruesome death scenes I've ever seen.

Some light "The Wire" vibes.

 

Yep...and the main female with that NE accent...mmhmmm.

 

Tell you what: If there ever was such a thing as a "grand finale", the closing episode of 1923 is it. Almost 2 hours but worth every single second.

One thing about the show they didn't need IMO was the sadistic subplot for Whitfield. I understand they wanted to prove he was a terrible man, but there were other ways that could have better tied into the primary story. Just my 2 cents

1923 was AMAZING, great writing, great story, great characters.

agreed with all of this.
1883 was almost just as good in my opinion. I liked both of these series despite not being a fan of Yellowstone.

 

Just finished season 2 of shrinking.
Made me laugh out loud about 4 times sn episode but I cried about 3 times an episode.
My wife sid she is glad the season is over.
Not because she didn't love it but, it's a tough emotional roller coaster

 

Seriously screw USS Callister arc.

 

Started watching "The Pitt", its really good......................its super intense and how the hell do those actors do so well saying all the Dr stuff..................well done but dam it takes a lot out of you
