Bosch Legacy the final Season Just finished the recent season of Reacher The Reacher season was cool but kind of . . just good. I think I liked the other seasons more. The actor seems to be getting MORE wooden . . .. The Stoic thing is fine but now he is getting worse . . . . Not bad . .. yet. . . but concerning Rocket River He's no Titus Weaver
no, i don't have hulu. will look into it as for the books it is a good read; the author Charles Yu, was raised in a suburb close to Disneyland. books by Amy Tan, Maxine Hong Kingston, Ben Fong Torres provide more first hand experience of living in Chinatown
I watched about half of the final episode of Reacher last night. Without spoiling anything hopefully, I will say that the scene we all knew was coming was good and leave it at that. I'm looking forward to Bosch Legacy, and agree that it's miles better on nearly every level.
I made a thread when it came out, but no one had AMC+ lol Second season wasn't as good but I think they already knew they were getting shitcanned so they had to wrap everything up. The last season wasn't even on AMC+ and drifted around global netflix/amzn prime Hopefully the creator gets another swing at the genre with a larger streaming service.
The scale effect of Netflix compared to a piddly network like AMC is amazing. It's too bad Netflix didn't have the show from the beginning. Pantheon could have had 4-5 great seasons IMO.
This is more of a general statement but Apple TV has been straight fire the past few months....Silo, Bad Monkey, Severance, Mythic Quest, and now watching Dope Thief.
The Reacher actor has always been a major stiff, his movements looks muscle bound and he is super boring to hear talk...yet I watch. Old man Bosch is such a better show, even the fights are smoother, and the actor is ooooolllllddd
I enjoyed it. Fun show + Chloe Bennett (I did not know she was Asian). Hulu sucks at marketing shows. They have some great originals. Deli Boys just dropped, and it is fun. Apple TV continues to release bangers. Two episodes into the studio, and I'm loving it. Jesus, the second episode was cringe. I felt like I was watching uncut gems again.
She was a Chinese pop star as Chloe Wang before making it as a mainstream American actress. Kinda wild lol.
Whoops It reminded me a bit of Arcane, in that you could tell they really wanted a third season to go into more story and were forced to condense things. I felt Pantheon pulled it off better.
Arcane was def a labor of love. I wasn't hooked in as much in the second season, but I liked the risks and style they took to weave a bunch of random characters into a bigger story. Unfortunately the producers got high off their supply and ended up losing Riot around 250M. It's real tough to pump out bangers that would please everyone, make a lot of money, and deliver within reasonable time. Esp when some goon can copy a tiktok and potentially make more $$$ than the original. Anyways, the 1st season of Pantheon is a legit sci-fi thriller. 2nd season dialed up the action so there's that for the people.
