My mom and her generation of relatives all love it, so I tried watching some of it and felt the same as you, think I made it through 8 episodes somehow.
Which season were you watching? I’ve been rewatching season 1. It’s amazingly good. Billy Bob is so strange and the way he purposefully stirs **** is hilarious. Also the woman cop is a Houston product I think.
Cabinet of Curiousities It was ok. Not exceptionally scarey or anything kind of a gorier watered down twilight zone-ish thing Rocket River
I thought that season was pretty interesting to start, but it just went off the rails at the end and did not make much sense, I also knew how it would end pretty early they telegraphed that. I think they tried to do much, too many plots going on.
Anybody watched all of Godfather of Harlem? I watched the 1st season, and it was pretty good, but I have not been drawn to watch season 2.
Through episode 3 of Devil's Hour. This is quite good. I can't quite put it all together and that makes it fun. Great cast.
I'm enjoying the new season of Manifest. Also wrapping up the second season of Reservation Dogs. Bunch of shitasses
Just finished this series and season three was my wrap up (started backwards at season 4 which was great as well). Season 3 was the best with season 1 being the worst (stupid plot twist that really didn't pass the smell test). agreed on Messina playing disturbed well and the ubermensch concept is one that's just interesting to explore. Also a fan of Bill Pullman, but not quite sure why. He never really said anything - just grunted and was slow to respond. Have heard this is a great approach for leadership.... might test out.
I never finished this and I don't know why, I will finish it this weekend I didn't like what they were doing to Pullmans character, but it make sense with season 4. I will finish it this weekend.
"The English" on Amazon is not bad at all. There's a touch of "vanity project" for Emily Blount in the way they present her character, but it's a solid, modern-style (post-Unforgiven) brutal Western about an odd-couple Pawnee scout and English lady. Not the best Western I've ever seen, but solid. A woman and a minority as the leads, so maybe "too woke" for some. 82% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes
Currently watchin 1899. I really liked Dark (except the ending) So I was looking forward to this. I almost stopped watching multiple times during the first 3 episodes. But My wife wanted to keep trying. I have to say at the end of the 4th episode it does intrigue me. That being said If the next episode doesn't deliver I will stop watching.
