Great episode. Some cool stuff. Guess a simple hologram explains the Reverse Flash beating up Wells after all that conjecture we had over it. Funny. I am left with: Why did Wells go back into the past to kill Barry? Why after Reverse Flash killed his mom, did he get stuck in the past? Why was Flash there at the killing of him mom and attempt on the life of young Barry, and why couldn't he stop reverse Flash? And why now if Reverse Flash still has speed power, is he stuck, he clearly is fast enough to move through time as he had to get to the past in the first place? What did Flash's girlfriend want to tell him before the emergency to save Iris father?
- I think Eobard is Flash's archnemesis (Batman - Joker, Supes - Lex) so by killing child Barry, adult superhero Barry would cease to exist. They'll probably explain this in a future episode though. Idk. - That IS the question, is it not? Maybe he just didn't have enough juice to get back to his time. But then adult superhero Barry should have been stuck too, unless he was powerful enough to go back to his own time, himself. - Adult Barry was probably trying to stop Eobard from trying to kill child Barry. - Your fourth question relates to #2. - Who cares. lol. It was probably just filler dialogue.
Pretty disappointed they reset all the events of the past episode. The biggest plot point was Barry breaking the time paradox. But, the other biggest stories were Cisco learning Wells's secret and Iris professing her feelings for Barry. Instead, we got Snart with the reappearance and learning his identity, Spartacus becoming a joke, Barry embarrassing himself, and now Barry starting to investigate Wells. I preferred the former storylines. Just felt cheap to have the drama and just reset it.
The episode was as expected. Reset everything. The only thing that happened that was huge in this episode was Barry now wanting to investigate wells. Oh and the line that Wells said to Cisco.
The talk about adrenalin levels and emotional state to reach the speed for time travel in this episode will probably tie into it.
I was trying to rethink the episode. Trying to remember WHEN Barry spoke to wells about the Reporter I thought they got interrupted in the 1st have of the episode before he could. . . so i will have to rewatch it. Barry goes from Zero to 100 on Wells rather quickly Rocket River
Did I miss what triggered this? Seems like it came out of nowhere but then I began to think of when Wells told him what was worth more, saving his mother and risking potentially even greater lives or leave history as is?
Seemed like it to me too. One more Thing: I *HATED* Lightning Psychosys <--- lame ass excuse to get back to status quo . . . . .. I prefer the tension What cop out !!! Rocket River
was it strange seeing scofield and burrows in these episodes? i guess they like working with each other. The flash has been better than I originally thought. I hope they don't go the smallville route with new meteorfreaks or metahumans, in this case, every other episode of every season.
No more 'GOLD' guns either that just looked dumb Why Rob places when you got a gun that makes fricking gold! Rocket River
It was probably too tough for them to do the special effects for the Golden Glider's comic stuff (like skating on air ice skates), so they just gave her a gun like the other two in their little gang.
