I've been watching it religously every week. It's a great show. Every character is funny in their own way and the drama they've been building so far this season is really getting interesting. I hope the show survives.
I've been watching it after Heroes. BUT... while I like the characters and the pace of the show, the interplots between the characters is getting boring. I can't care about any of the romantic relationships, they are just not very interesting. I want to know whats going on in the tv show, part of the appeal was that the fake SNL was better than the real one, but we haven't seen much of that since the first few episodes. And I thought the show as getting cut? It's sad that NBC has to cut shows like these without giving them a fair chance, but money does talk. http://www.tbo.com/life/MGB945IHTXE.html
I've been watching it regularly. I do agree that the romatic plot lines are getting a tad boring. Hopefully, next week they'll get back to the show.
I agree that the romantic plotlines get a little old...but to me the best and funniest parts of the show are the interactions between Matt and Danny, and the romance portion of the show does allow for some interesting talks between those two.
I've watched every episode so far, and I like the show. However, this show is no where nearly as compelling as the first season of "The West Wing". If the show does get axed, I can kind of see why.
Can anyone explain what is going on between Matt and Harriet? She's been hanging on to him even though they have been broken up for a while but now she's ready to move on because Matt is mister indecisive in whether he wants her or not because they work together and whatever else. Yet, he cannot be away from her without wanting her and now, just when it seems like he is going to be with her, she shoots him down right before he has to take the podium at a dinner in her honor where he conveniently botches every word he says because he is so in shock at what just transpired between him and her. Is that basically what their trying to tell us in a drawn out fashion? If so, take that sh*t over to "All My Children" or some other soap. It's too sappy and we really don't care. I found the story about the snake, ferret, and coyote under the stage much more entertaining. lol

the office, my name is earl, scrubs, and 30 rock are reason alone for that not to happen. just a shame none of those shows can seem to get ratings despite being great. what's crazy is i can barely even picture steven weber as the goofy brother on wings anymore, despite the fact i watched it a lot when it used to come on tvland at about 4 a.m. now the tough exec seems natural and the goofy pilot guy seems fake and i never thought that would happen.
I really enjoy the show- missed the last one on the 5th, but will watch it hopefully on their website.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is on the outs...maybe for good. Aaron Sorkin's much-hyped new series, once touted as the wunderkind of NBC's fall schedule (and originally slotted to take on Grey's Anatomy and CSI, no less), has been yanked from its Monday time slot a week early to make way for the organized-crime drama The Black Donnellys. After scoring its lowest ratings yet this week (and that's saying a lot, considering it airs after the actual freshman highlight of NBC's season, Heroes), Studio 60 will be benched a week earlier than planned, starting Feb. 26. The show had been slated to run through February sweeps. No return date has been set. Because of its early start, the incoming mobster series from Oscar winner Paul Haggis could also benefit from an extra week of having Heroes as its lead-in, before the average-Joes-equipped-with-extraordinary-abilities drama takes several weeks off after a Mar. 5 cliffhanger. Studio 60, with its top-notch cast led by Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford (and hefty $3 million-plus-per-episode production budget), has struggled to find an audience all season, topping out at 13.4 million viewers…with its Sept. 18 premiere. Close to 3 million pairs of eyes had tuned out by week two. Things went downhill from there, with even a so-called special Christmas episode attracting only 7.3 million. Despite its ratings woes, however, NBC gave Studio 60 a full-season, 22-episode pickup in November, and Sorkin tweaked the series, about the behind-the-scenes drama at a Saturday Night Live-style sketch comedy show, to focus more on the various romantic story lines in recent episodes. Still, this week's installment managed a scant 6.9 million viewers, giving the Donnelly brothers the cue to step up. Created by Crash scribes Haggis and Bobby Moresco, The Black Donnellys follows four Irish siblings—Tommy (Jonathan Tucker), Jimmy (Tommy Guiry), Kevin (Billy Lush) and Sean (Michael Stahl-David)—who are fiercely loyal to each other but end up answering the door when the mean streets of New York come a-knockin'. A wannabe gangster known as Joey "Ice Cream" (Keith Nobbs) narrates the series, which is loosely based on Moresco's experiences growing up in Hell's Kitchen. The series' pilot is currently available from Netflix, where the 1,414 users who bothered to rate the episode have given it 3.4 out of five stars.
Has anyone heard anything further on this series? I was really enjoying it, and was pretty damned happy when they extended the series despite what that Fox writer claimed. But now it seems as if they are happy to just let it die. That pisses me off.
As far as I know, they still intend to bring it back at some point but haven't set a date. Good news is, according to Wiki, the ratings for The Black Donnellys keep dropping, so it wouldn't be an easy decision for them to cancel Studio 60 altogether.
The show is back on tomorrow night (5/24). Looks like they'll be showing the balance of what was filmed and that will be all. It's not on the schedule for next fall and I believe that some are already cast in other things. I have also heard that they dismantled the stage not long after they wrapped. It's a shame but not suprising. Much like The West Wing and Sports Night, it was simply too smart for today's primetime...a primetime that values "Dancing With the Stars" and "Are You Less r****ded than an actor playing a 5th grader?" as quality television.
