I've been watching this British TV show called Misfits which is about a young group of kids doing community service who attain super powers after an electrical storm. It's like Heros, but funny, edgy, and just much better.

One of the chicks in this show has a power that when anybody makes contact with her they want to rape her. Now that's a super power that I want right there, granted I would want to make sure that no guys ever touched me.

I've seen the first 2 episodes too. I enjoyed them but I never picked it back up; that was over a year ago. I watch too much TV (cartoons included) as it is, there is never enough time in the day to pick up new shows..

British TV is pretty entertaining, they get away with a lot of stuff American TV can't. Look at whats happening to the US version of Skins, which is tame in comparison to its UK counterpart, advertisers are jumping ship because of all the teen debauchery..

I've gotten hip to some other British shows:

    Skins
    Dr. Who
    Graham Norton Show
    Red Dwarf
    Torchwood

A lot more diversity in British TV too.

I may check some of those out. I can't believe some of the stuff they show on Misfits is actually on regular tv over there.

Good show, gets worse as you go along though IMO.

Can't hold a candle to Heroes Season 1 I think.

Wasn't there a show very similar to this with the same name in the 80's? I think it was on NBC and came on before or after Knight Rider.

It started good, but finished great. Can't wait for 3rd season. It's a lil effed up, but UK have a good shows, also pick up their version of Skins (only first 2seasons, cause from the 3rd characters changes)

I started watching it this afternoon. So far so, good.

Reality shows are killing the creative TV ideas in this country. Now I have to find good shows in The UK.

    Skins
    Top Gear
    Misfits
    The Inbetweeners

IMHO Heroes jumped the shark halfway through Season 1. Just my opinion, I know most stuck with the show for a bit longer than I did.

Giving hulu plus a test drive and I stumbled upon this show. I've watched 10 episodes in the past 2 days. Really enjoying it.

I almost feel like it's a graphic novel done right on TV. If you haven't anything to watch at the moment, give this a shot. Now thru season 3.

This show was recommended in a thread about BBC tv shows last year. It was welcomed, in part because they also posted a picture or two similar to this:

That surely would help. Or the water bottle scene from the pilot episode...
