I thought it would suck beyond words that could truly express its suckiness. However, I've found myself watching it and Carpoolers and enjoying them both, to some degree. They are revolutionary shows, but I've found them entertaining, at least.
The Simpsons was originally a one minute filler between skits on the Tracey Ullman show. Once they spun off the Simpsons into its own show and it was a hit, the good people at Butterfinger dropped a ton of cash to Fox to use the characters for their commercials.
Read on Yahoo! today that this is one of the 5 sitcoms that will probably get cut soon. http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/76645/freshmen-in-distress http://tv.yahoo.com/falltv2007/photos/shows-in-trouble/169
I remember riding the bus to school when I was in Jr. High, talking to a friend about how cool it would be if the Simpsons got their own series. Soon after, I got my wish. I should have gone into television.
Did you actually read those links? One is based on polling Yahoo members and the other is based on search engine queries.
My wife didn't like the Geico commercials, but I was able to talk her into watching a Cavemen episode with an open mind and she thought it was pretty good. I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
i havent seen a whole episode but it seemed likable. i will definitely try and sit and watch a whole episode. i could NOT watch the following sitcoms last fall. -Happy hour: wtf was that all about, didnt last long -that sitcom where raymond brother from everybody love ray, i couldnt bear to watch it. i would try to think it was funny but it just plain sucked. i cant even remember the name, thats how much it sucked. i think it got cut too.
It is getting awful reviews but I am enjoying it. It's funny watching cavemen trying to act trendy and snobby.
What? Do you live under a rock? Remember, coming out of the cave, is not the same as coming out of the closet. DD
You can go to ABC.com and go to "watch full episodes" and both Cavemen episodes are up on their site.
Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the Rock - Psychiatrist lady from the commercial Rocket River
Damn... The site says that only people in the US can watch the episodes online. Those discriminating b#stards.
