Check out Mad Men on AMC. It's only three episodes long -- interesting so far. http://media.amctv.com/originals/madmen/?s_cid=google1:
Weeds. Here is season 1. http://tv-links.co.uk/listings/1/115 Arrested Development is also one of my favorite shows of all time. Damn you Fox.
Last new show I liked was Arrested Development. Wonderfalls was interesting in parts. So was Dead Like Me, surprised at the f-bombs in that one.
Maybe it's because I've stopped watching Buffy after maybe the third season, but how is it better than Firefly? All the episodes I caught after the third season just doesn't seem to to capture my attention for extended period of time and Nothing I've seen before than made me want to watch it much either.
i like the new dr.who that is on bbc you can dl the episodes off of torrents...season 3 just ended and season 4 should start next year around feb or so. the shows are on bbc america or sci i think but are a season behind.
Dexter is awesome, I already have the first 2 episodes of season 2 and its great. Better than last season which was already amazing. 5 star show Psych is also pretty good. almost 4 star show Scrubs was good but lately it isn't as funny. 4 star show Colbert Report is funny. 5 star show Hells Kitchen was funny cause of the chef but its almost over now. 3 star show
Well, as art is subjective, I can't really give a quantitative answer to that. It would be more accurate for me to say I liked Buffy better than Firefly. The reasons I like it more are mostly because I find the dialog funnier, I like that they have pop culture references aplenty that I enjoy, I am more of a fantasy fan than a sci-fi fan, so the mythology of the show appeals to me more, and I like a lot of the side characters better (I think only Jayne compares with Warren, Johnathon, and Andrew; Anya; and Xander).
Sopranos Dead like me (Only ran 2 seasons, and i dont know if they have it on DVD) Ghost Whisperer is good
Ditto: Always Sunny Entourage Arrested Development (probably the greatest sitcom since Seinfeld, no exaggeration) Entourage and Arrested are continuous stories. And Entourage usually leaves a little cliffhanger element at the end to make you look forward to the next one. I've got all of Arrested on dvd, but I've been saving disc 2 of the last season until recently. I just caught up, and it reminded me of how incredible their writing is. It's not just funny, but insanely clever. It's difficult to describe, but you could have a very lengthy diagram on the payoff on one joke that spans several episodes.
