I'm extremely happy to see Chuck be renewed. I don't think they'll have a problem cutting some people out with the way the season ended. It appeared they're planning to go away from the Buy More which will make it much easier to leave Jeffster, Big Mike, and the others out of episodes.
This is a good thing. The Buy More backdrop (including most of the characters) was getting tiresome. It was time to take the show another direction and hopefully the writers find something that works.
Is this show better than Lost? That is the only show I am watching as of right now... I finished season 1 within 1 day...
FYI, it is very different from LOST. It is silly at times but a lot of fun. The finale this season was fantastic from a "the audience gets what it wants" perspective. I think most people like the show and you will too. Just don't take it seriously.
I'd also recommend Burn Notice. Another top-notch show. Sort of like Chuck, except that it's less goofy. Both are a lot of fun to watch and never take themselves seriously -- just good TV.
Finally finished watching Season 2 a couple of nights ago. Enjoyed it a good deal. Also glad it got renewed.
That season finale had the most payoff in a TV show I've seen in ages. Better than most series finales. Dunno how they're going to top season 2.
