well, i thought the entire finale was awesome.. until that last 30 seconds or whatever. apparently you all loved it.. i didn't. I am glad they have a new direction I guess. but damn, brice didn't tell chuck that sarah was gonna stay with him, sarah didn't tell him, and now they're working together again.. that's annoying. And yeah, just over the top for me. But I guess I should trust the writers like someone said--it has been an amazing show all season. Obviously I'm still hoping for another season
Bryce lets him know with his last breath. BTW, the actor portraying Bryce is a Houstonian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Bomer
i heard him say it, but chuck said "what?" as if he thought bryce wasn't making sense or as if he didn't really understand that sarah wasn't going BECAUSE of chuck.. (and then he died before explaining the rest)
Keep the Save Chuck campaign going!! NBC will announce it's decision on whether to keep chuck or not in 1 or 2 weeks. http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b121695_chuck_decision_delayed_week_more.html?sid=twitterfeed_kristin&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=twitterfeed&utm_campaign=twitterfeed_kristin
With the huge buzz on blogs and chatboards, I think Chuck is coming back. The guy that plays Chuck seems confident too.
Looks like we won't know for sure for another 2 weeks. Apparently, they're giving the producers of the shows on the bubble this time to show where they're going and then NBC will make it's determination on Chuck and others. I can't believe Law & Order possibly won't be allowed to go out on it's own. Nearly 2 decades on the air and they're just going to cancel it? They have to give them some sort of send off. Finish it with Jack McCoy losing the election for DA and walking off (or riding his motorcycle) into the sunset...
It's another of my producing/writing loves.. Jesse Alexander's creation I agree that it sounds good and I will be watching it. Creatively, hip geeks are where it's at right now. Abrams, Whedon, Lindelof, now Alexander... they are all getting it done imho.
DirecTV sponsored the show last year or the year before and basically ensured it wouldn't be canceled for a while.
I bailed out on Chuck after episode 3 (when I noticed an awful lot of similarities between the episode plot and a script I had written several years ago. I figured if they can't do better than ideas I've had, they probably shouldn't have a TV show), but I watched the rest of the first season this week and started on the 2nd. It's not a great show, but it's more entertaining than a lot of what's out there.
I thought the first season was ok but they really stepped it up on the second season and made me a big fan of the show.
