saw the premiere...wasn't that great for an opener...kinda sad that he can do actions and stuff, takes away from his character...and the manager guy got shot..that's horrible!! he was hilarious!!
I think they needed to make Chuck a little more bad ass to allow his character to grow. If Chuck had stayed the same, it would have started to get boring. Now, I'm glad that they didn't actually turn him into a super spy and that he can't tap into the Intersect 2.0 every time he wants. That prevents his character from changing too quickly and it allows the Chuck we've come to know to still come through despite his upgraded abilities. I do think the whole Chuck/Sarah relationship thing has gotten really repetitive.
Exactly. If he doesn't change everyone complains that the writers are lazy and the characters are exactly the same. If he does change they complain that it's not the same as it used to be.
Yeah, the writers did a big rewind. Brought back the tension between Sarah and Chuck, and they nerfed Intersect 2.0. It'll be alright if people's expectations can be scaled back from this show. The show originally started as harmless mindless fun. My expectations for a good season will be Chuck and Sarah getting together for good and a decent villain. It'll feel cheesy if the writers don't pull it off.
Hated the reset button. But I love that it's back. If this season gets even close to what it was last season, then I'm all set.
I didn't mind the reset button, I liked the show as it was last year, I don't see the point on changing everything. The Sara - Chuck relationship needs some more intrigue to it though, they need to spice it up somehow. Also I'm pissed that I won't see Chuck's sister as often now that she moved out.....she was easy on the eyes.
Loved it... only thing I am disappointed in... No Anna Woo!! Did she get another gig? Why no Anna?? Edit: Elle only moved across the complex. Now they have three of the apartments covered... Casey, Chuck and Morgan, and Elle and Awesome... it's like their own little spy sanctuary!
They had to cut costs at the beginning but shes coming back now that NBC added more episodes to CHUCK.
If Chuck's inability to consistently tap into the Intersect in a long lasting theme, I think it's going to get repetitive as well.
they have a t-shirt now that says that. Also one that says "Stay in the Car" which I have already pre-ordered.
