They used the "hack a Shaq" on Dream which worked since they knew they could not defend him once he got the ball down low and he was not hitting FT's. Maybe they should start giving the team the option to take the ball out or something like that... but again they are not really playing for much.

I'm still not convinced Olajuwon couldn't play off the bench even at his age. A lot of Hakeem's defensive problems were because he was helping because Kenny and Rick couldn't stay in front of their man. Once he learned to cut off the pass back to his man the game swung in their favor. Once the Joes realized this though, they went with shooting three's and luckily hit them.

The Joes actually played team ball much better than the Pros did. At one point, Rick Fox tried to draw up a play but Kenny dismissed it and the play ended up being a long fade away two by Hakeem.

    Wish he'd play again... :(

If you think that after watching Pros vs. Joes, something tells me you'll probably still think it when he's 70.

I love Dream as much as anyone, but he was done when he retired, and since then he's only gotten older, slower, less mobile and more injury-prone (as everyone does when they pass 40). On PvJ, he was slow and stiff and could barely jump off the ground against guys who were not exactly young themselves (McNabb will be 34 in November and TO turns 37 in December).

On top of that, Hakeem is 47 and nobody has EVER played in the NBA after age 46. Sorry to burst your bubble, but even playing 5 minutes a game, Dream would be in over his head at his age.

Dream still has great skill, but his knees are shot and he can't play D anymore.

He was still the best player on the court...

TO looked good in the vid, but he would get DESTROYED by real NBA players. Guys like Travis Outlaw or Trevor Ariza would make him look like the scrub he is.

ricky davis is 6'7 and owens is only 6'3. TO needs better handles to be compared with PG's.
