that had me rolling. so far this is proving to be a really good show. manny and jay fixing the fan was great as well (if this takes until 3, i'm putting a noose around this thing). cougartown isn't good, but it's not bad enough that i need to change the channel after modern family, i'll at least give more of a chance. if cox tones down the character just a little i think they've got enough in the supporting cast to churn out a solid show. i really wanted to like Hank because kelsey grammer is a badass and the show definitely had some funny lines, but it just seems to be missing something or is too forced or something. it's also weird watching a non-single camera comedy as well. but it was a pilot so we'll have to see. and The Middle was decent as well but i could easily see it falling off my schedule with no pick-up in quality. patricia heaton doesn't seem to work as a voice-over voice and i'm not sure that concept even works for this show. the janitor was pretty funny though.
f'n hilarious...and Brandy is f'n hot...I remember her from Zebra Lounge: Zebra Lounge "she's already slept with two dads"...
I am really enjoying this show, and I liked tonight's episode as well. Loved the baseball metaphor with the teenage boy, the dad running out in the field with the hula hoop, and I really really enjoyed the little boy (Manny) in tonight's episode. I think he is stealing this show and standing out from the rest of the ensemble cast. and man what I would give to see that tattoo sophia vergara's character said she has "really high up her thigh" mmmmm....
I kinda fell asleep for the first 15 minutes and just caught the end, I will have to re-watch it on hulu. I really like this show so far Spoiler
The first 2 episodes were good. It wasn't as good tonight. Anyways, I feel like there are some good comedies. The Office has been great but it's a little less funny this season. How I Met Your Mother has some funny episodes..haven't seen them all though. 30 Rock is solid. Overall, The NBC lineup is good imo. It's always Sunny is my favorite comedy and I hear Arrested Development is hilarious. That's the one show I want to watch from the beginning that I haven't gotten around to
so now that yall have seen three episodes, should I buy in and catch up or wait until the season ends and then catch up?
Hayes....BUY BUY BUY....this show is fantastic..... Last nights was good, but not as good as ep 1 and 2.....still the bit in Cosco where the guy looks around after finding his shredder..."What is this place?".......FUNNY. DD
Besides Seinfeld, I can't think of any sitcoms from the 80s and early 90s that made me bust my gut laughing the way the Office, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, etc do. Even Cheers only made chuckle.
I'd half watched the other episodes and liked them, this one was the first one I watched without something else going on and I kind of enjoyed it. Doesn't hurt that Sofia is wonderful eye candy Spoiler
and the late 80s seinfeld was terrible. night court and cheers are the only ones for me looking back. the rest are pretty terrible comparitively.
I was flipping through channels and Sophie made me stop. I watched the show and enjoyed it. Went back on ABC.Com and watched 1 and 2. I find it simple and funny. Good show.
last night's show wasnt like burst out loud funny it had it moments but it gave us some more info about some of the characters, the middle daughter, manny, relationship between jay and the husband etc. i figured there would be an episode like this i still enjoyed the episode though Mitchell in Costco was great though
