I agree. More Ward, more hot girl, don't care about plot holes. I also don't care about relationships and feelz. Agent coulson's relationship revenge was garbage. It should have been flashbacks to ward trying to kill, i don't know, his entire team? The characters we actually give a crap about. Not some recent hookup he just started raw dogging. Hopefully all of that junk is now resolved and we get back to some more exciting stuff.
Agreed. Coulson's 'Releationship' seemed so forced and very little depth. they have been crapping on WARD all season He was much more badass earlier That WARD needs to return More Mai More Deathlok More Fitz less Simmons More Daisy [and i was sick of her by season 1 ] Less New Inhumans More Bobbi - Less Hunter Rocket River
If the creature doesn't have some ridiculous super power next season I'll be super disappointed. That one dude's sole purpose in life and I'm assuming plenty of other hydra leaders was to bring that thing from the portal to Earth. It would be a huge let down for them and me if that thing's only power was to jump from one dead body to another. Woop freaking woop.
I don't know about that theory. The creature had a non assuming form, sort of like the Grim Reaper, before it possessed Will's body. Will had fought it before, and I'd think he'd have shot/killed it before but it's still alive. Maybe it likes possessing humans so that it can camouflage better? There's a lot of unknowns about it. And I agree that Ward should stay in the show. He's the best antagonist in the series. Just felt cheap and lazy for him to show up undetected as zombie Ward.
Right?!? For the majority of Hydra's past, those leaders dedicated resources and time to get that thing to Earth. I'm hoping/predicting that this thing will bring chaos to the entire Marvel Universe and thus introduce other Super Heroes into the show. They've mentioned in the show that even Fury knew about the monolith and possibly the overall goal of Hydra. So if Fury knew and now Hydra has accomplished their life long goal, this thing better f*** some **** up next season.
Coulson and Ros' relationship was not forced; it was one of the best things this season. The chemistry between those two was tremendous. They were flirting with each other with every line of dialog. The only thing I hated was they consummated the relationship too early - that was rushed, but we know why they rushed which is also bullcrap. I agree, the revenge was forced. The relationship dynamics (besides Daisy and lighting boy) have been better than the plots. Take away all the relationship stuff and this season is awful.
I actually liked the Will-Fitz-Simmons triangle. That was the most interesting storyline of this halfseason as it was the most involved in the monolith portal. Everything else was kinda meh this halfseason.
AOS looking to become more interesting. It's been slow with all the characters, but seems to have all the pieces in position for an interesting second half.
I'm of the opposite spectrum, actually. I couldn't follow a single plot point since the long hiatus. I even zoned out for half the episode. Found it really boring. The dude with the eye / paralysis power was cool, though. I miss Agent Carter, already.
Yea. . . I was trying to remember what the sand thing at the end was about It looks like they want to make it more action oriented Rocket River
I hope he doesn't have sand power. I thought the sand storms were just because the planet had a bunch of sand.
Sorry, didn't mean to imply this episode was interesting on its own merits. Just seemed like they more or less have set the stage for the plot to begin. Granted a half season and and second half premiere is a long setup. Grant Ward-Hive, Telekinesis Martial Art dude, Medusa Boy, and maybe the Absorbing Man (assuming Medusa Boy can unpertrify him) would give a decent set of villains. Secret Warriors look more or less to have everyone needed for Avengers-lite.
It was contrived crap 1. They should have died. . . the idea that the russians just let them go because the Americans say they won't talk to them again is crap 2. Their relationship has been over drawn out and crap the whole show . . .last night was just the worst of it 3. I liked Bobbi . . . detested Hunter - His character was so useless. He F*** up almost everything he was involved in. Rocket River
Well you'll be happy to know that you would see more of Bobbi in another Marvel spinoff show: Marvel Most Wanted. http://screenrant.com/marvel-most-wanted-logo-casting/ There is still not much information on it, but it will center around Bobbi and Hunter.
Yeah still a little confused on how they were miraculously freed from the Russians. I thought Hunter would take the full blame of everything and receive the death penalty/life in prison etc. The whole "can't work for any agency and constantly followed" thing was lame.
