So my cable bill seems to have exploded. I had UVerse 200 and 18mbps for $90 per month and now it's $160 per month. I called them up and they offered to cut it to $133 but I want a better deal. What services do y'all have and for what prices?

My internet is like $25, but it's not as fast. Good enough for online games though.

My advice is to keep UVerse for the discount they offered. I was UVerse customer for six years. Loved it. Never had a problem. Moved to Atascocita three months ago. UVerse is not available here. Went with Comcast. Hate it. Problems at least once a week. Dont know what you got till its gone. :(

This is my exact experience, fortunately in reverse. My internet with Comcast was a little faster but not enough to matter.

OP, ask people in your area how other providers are. We found out about U-Verse from several neighbors.

$75 for internet from Comcast. 100/10 speeds.

TV is like ~$50 after promotions from Dish.

So are you watching ballstream through the PC? Any issues with speed/ stream? I plan on just getting internet and hoping to chromecast it from there.

I moved to Dish from DirectTV when I moved and DirectTV wouldn't give me the same deal as their new customers, even though I was not on contract and had been a DirectTV customer for 6 years or so.

Dish gave me their best deal. What they have online is usually that. I've been pleasantly surprised with Dish... except for an installation snafu... but I got a nice credit for that.

I use ATT Uverse for internet and pay like $25-$30. Speed isn't amazing, but solid. I'd happily pay more for internet for giga-like speed, but it's not available yet in my neighborhood.

How do you like SlingTV? I can't find too much info on it. It has ESPN apparently?

I have the blast tier with Comcast and ballstreams works great. Unfortunately, me and other users have had trouble chromecasting. Instead I have a HDMI hookup if i ever want to watch games on my tv.

Comcast internet only. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, & bunny ears for the local channels. I'm using Roku 3 for all the streaming services. I also have a My Cloud device that I use to stream all my movies and music. I've ripped almost all of my old DVDs at this point and put them on the My Cloud device so I'm almost completely media free.

best decision i've ever made. what a waste of money.

you can find what you need to watch online - just takes a little effort.

I'll be going that route soon. Probably once SlingTV becomes a thing.

Paying $65 w/ tax for TW Internet

    $7.99 Netflix
$5/mo with Simple.TV (local channels through rabbit ears) and DVR via HD
    ~$10 Amazon Prime

Thinking about jumping on Hulu Plus. Definitely going to jump on Sling TV w/ sports package add-in (depending on what channels) when it comes out.

All NFL/NBA games through streaming online. Quality ain't that great even with fast internet speeds, but at least I'm watching the game.

Best decision I made last year cutting DIRECTV. Saving a ton.

    Comcast
    $55/month Internet(50mbps) + basic TV + HBO

Didn't really need the HBO but it was $5 extra so why not. When I say basic TV its just abc, nbc, fox and those local channels.

Also NOTE if you're a first time Comcast customer, it'll be a 2 year deal BUT the 2nd year of the contract the monthly is almost double. It's a $200 cancellation fee to get out of the contract.
