After watching the horrible Texans lose again. And then watching the Astros choke away a win. Tonight I'm going to sit back, relax, and watch someone get killed in the North country.
should I not start watching season 2 if I haven't watched season 1 or are they independent of each other?
I think the story this season involves a character from last season, but 30-40 years ago when he was a police officer. So there's a connection, but it's largely stand alone story and you can watch it without having seen season 1.
Very well done. Spoiler The entire restaurant scene including the car hitting the guy had me laughing out loud.
Same here, bloody but hilarious all around. Already off to a much better start than the second season of True Detective....
I don't get how... Spoiler ...a lady driving on a snowy/icy road who hits a guy standing in the middle of the road would just continue all the way home instead of just calling the police given she wasn't impaired in any way. What is there to be scared of exactly? What would be scary is parking a car in your own garage with a seemingly dead guy poking through the windshield bleeding out while pretending it didn't happen. I know this has happened in real life (they said this is a true story so maybe this happened?) but it has always involved a drunk driver from my recollection. They are obviously representing her character as a complete flake of a person but that was ridiculous.
good first episode...glad i decided to watch the first season on hulu few weeks back. so so good. hope season 2 can equal it
Although it says that it's based on a true story, it's really not. It's just a Fargo catch phrase that started with the movie.
the fact that these are only one season long means anyone could die at any moment, raises the tension in scenes like the car stop or the butcher shop at the end
