It seemed a bit off to me when I realized "Mando" wasnt actually his name, but... they run around never showing their face, and when someone knows his name it's a rare enough thing that it enables them to identify Moff Gideon. It seems like maybe the lack of an individual identity is part of their ethos. If every Mandelorian wanted to be identified and acknowledged as an individual, they are not exactly going out of their way to help people to do that.
I was not bothered by it I mean I think all the military ranks have consistent nickname. . ie. Jarhead . . .Seaman . . .etc . . .. It is snappy and saying the complete name gets long . . .esp since no one knows his real name Call him .. Dalo? Lorian? Rocket River
I'd give the show a solid B. The stand-alone episodes kinda sucked, but the main storyline episodes were great, especially 7 and 8. I think my favorite so far is the last episode. The storm trooper banter at the beginning reminded me so much of the Red vs Blue series; I loved it. I also enjoyed how we got to revisit characters from the season as he assembled his team. Baby Yoda had more to do here than in probably all the other episodes combined. The music was on point. Everything clicked. Moving forward I want to see a lot more of that, and if we must have filler episodes, tighten them up with better stories and supporting characters that aren't total cliches. And as much as Clone Wars and Rebels gets referenced, it'd be nice if, at some point, the character could be brought to life. Would be awesome to see Mando cross paths with Sabine at some point. Or shoot, let's get a movie with Ashoka as a lead character.
I like that he says being Mandalorian is a creed and he ain't from Mandalore. I like Din Djarin. Sounds Albanian/Bosnian.
Loved the episode and the series, but could someone clear something up for me? Spoiler The Womando told the IG robot to hold the jetpack for "Din Djarin". How did she know that they knew his name?
Just saw last episode Guess The Creed must attract a lot of women who like to have sex with guys wearing helmets ... otherwise, that Creed is not for me
