Humans eat eggs too. All ages, all the time. Is baby Yoda any worse than us? Lol

It just seems more wrong, lol. I don't know why. But I found it funny too.

Yeah, I don't see why everything has to be epic or tied together. Might be Netflix binge fatigue.

It's just Mando figuring out the world and working that out with his code.

Some fanservice, some occasional easter eggs, and you're all set.

I just find it weird that even though it's BABY yoda, he's still 80 years old. You would think his brain would mature faster than his body. I know, it's a show. Should have made him younger.

In regards to the egg thing, remember what Yoda ate when Luke first met him. He pretty much ate anything he could catch.

I am not offended by it, but I think the difference would be the frog people have human-level consciousness vs a chicken which has virtually none.

Damn. People really getting up in arms over nothing. It's just a TV show.

I know what they were trying to do, but honestly my wife and I didn't like it.

Episode 3 (or 11) was really good - still that Saturday morning cartoon feel, but
the end set up a pretty significant Star Wars character returning....

What a fantastic episode. Starbuck and Sasha Banks coming to Mando's aid.

Moff Gus Fring was cold as hell to Captain Bosch, "Long live the Empire"

The Razorcrest looks like a Captain Ds now after that Mon Cal fixed it up.

    LMAO!!!!!!!

I thought S2E3 was soooooo good. Loved that Trask sea planet. It was like a "Deadliest Catch" Mando episode. LOVED IT!

Business is about to pick up!

So... keeping in mind that we are talking about a hypothetical fantasy situation which makes the whole thing kind of silly...

Typically amphibians go for the quantity over quality wrt young. Frogs would be the example everybody should be familiar with. Typically they have thousands of tadpoles that pop out of eggs.

If frogs increased in number 1000 fold every generation the entire earth would be wall-to-wall frogs. In practical terms, they lay 1000 eggs and expect most to die and only a handful to survive to maturity.

Frog lady didn't quite have 1000 eggs in the jar, but if we assume 50 or so, again that results in an unsustainable ecological burden in only a handful of generations. No species can realistically increase fifty fold generation over generation. The only possible way you could evolve to lay that many eggs is if you expect most of them to die.

Even if you look at cats and dogs, who have five or so offspring at a time, it is quite common for the runt of the litter to get frozen out by the mother and left to die.

The human pattern with a single offspring at a time typically means we put much more into that one individual.

If you still don't get it watch the original star trek episode, "The Trouble With Tribbles".

Cool episode. I liked it again. It definitely does have a bit of a weekend morning cartoon feel, and especially since I wake up early on Sunday to watch it. All good though.

It was cool to see Starbuck again. I haven't seen her in anything since BattleStar Galactica. Neat that he found Mandalorians, just not quite the ones he was looking for.

I think at times when I am watching the Mandalorian it feels a bit like old school Batman TV show. Not in a corny way, but just kinda fun.

A slice of life in the Star Wars galaxies.

It has been what the last 3 movies have not to a large degree. You could say chapter 11 was pure fan service with the rebels and clone wars animated series nods but this is why fans love it when the show delivers
