Saw commercials for it last night. Set to premiere January 2nd with a 1-hour special.

    Epic trailer.

I like how the trailer mentions "From the executive producer of Seasons 1-3", highlighting how much of a failure season 4 was. Hopefully, with Dan Harmon back, they can recapture the feel of seasons 1 and 2.

Fat Neal is becoming less fat. Good for him.

    Stoked on this season!

The bit Troy says about Braff/Scrubs = hilarious masterfully manufactured comedic irony

    I can't wait.

I'm optimistic for a decent season. It can only get better from the last one.

More Alison Brie is always a good thing.

I was just about to say that about that scene lol. I wonder how it's gonna be now that Donald Glover is leaving. Hoping for a bounce back season since season 4 was mediocre.

Hmmm.... not sure what to think.

Second episode was definitely better than the first.

I thought the premiere was better than the second episode. I'm just glad that Alison Brie is back.

I enjoyed both episodes. The main problem with Community is that at its worst it is unwatchable, and at its best it still isn't as good as a 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, etc.

I guess I would put it on the same level as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, except that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has yet to have any episode that I can't sit through (Community has had more than a few).

    GTFO

    :p

For me, at it's best Community is my favorite TV comedy. At it's worst, it's still better than most anything else . . . and is still my favorite TV comedy.

He just wants to move on and do other things. He's going to have his own show on FX

Enjoyed the two. Glad Dan is back. Was surprised to see Chevy in there, even if it was just a minor clip.

I didn't know Donald Glover was leaving. That's too bad, show will take a big hit with him gone. Him and Danny together are a huge part of the show.

They started to hint at the character leaving. Mentioning how Troy needs to learn to not be so dependent on Abed. And then bringing up Zach Braff only showing up in the first 6 episodes of Scrubs' final season. I think Donald Glover is only doing 5. So only 3 more weeks of Troy.

Abed's Nicolas Cage impression was the most I've laughed at a TV show in a long time. I was genuinely entertained by that.

It was good to see strong episodes. Abed had me rolling with the Cage impersonation. I also really enjoyed the bully professor bits. Just a great couple of episodes.

Between this and the return of Sherlock, I'm almost content. I just need GoT to bring its next season.
