    The link has since been updated as says this for Lost: " Six pre-strike episodes remain. Six additional episodes could air this season."

    Odd...didn't they originally have 8 more episodes they wanted to run this season? Are they going to be able to cut it off 2 episodes before they had originally planned and still get everything in that they wanted (that's important, I mean) or are they going to just leave the last two episodes (including the cliffhanger that I'm sure the 16th episode was planned to be) for next year?

    Since they haven't been written yet, I assume that they'll wrap up whatever they wanted to wrap up for the season over those six episodes rather than the eight.

    And then they'll either add two more episodes at some other point or ABC will cut the overall order by two episodes.

    But they may do it differently.
