You have some innate desire to classify and analyze seemingly every topic involving social aspects as if you are some anthropologly junkie looking for a fix. Typical beta male behavior, striving away from the herd, becoming a loner because he lacks the physical attractiveness for mating with females. Needs a life pronto.
How are Jeff and Jordan fake? I don't see that at all. I've watched every season of Big Brother since the second (missed the first year) and Jeff seems to be the most down-to-earth and "normal person" type of cast member ever placed on the show. Usually reality television producers look for personalities that will cause conflict and drama in the house - which makes for great television. But Jeff doesn't seem to be that kind of guy. He seems pretty level-headed - which is a refreshing change - and probably explains America's love affair with the dude. As for Jordan - well she's smoking hot and on Jeff's team... 'nuff for me. I despise Kevin for choosing the dark side and going with Chima/Nat/Lydia. I loved how during the wine-meltdown he realized what a bunch of horrible shrews he aligned himself with. If Jeff/Jordan/Russ/Michelle get to the final four - Jeff is in a bad situation. He has an alliance with Jordan and with Russ. If he's smart - he realizes he has a better shot at the $500K if he takes Russ to the final 2 - and not Jordan. But would he screw over his new "fiance" like that? I hope he's smart enough to do so.
I don't know what's funnier, the fact that you think striving away from the herd makes you a beta male or how you subconsciously described yourself when you tried to come up with characteristics that define a loser. Either way, please continue replying.
if anybody is keeping up with what's going on, natalie, as much as i hate her, is orchestrating possibly the most genius move that i've ever seen on the show, if she's able to pull it off, and it looks like there is a decent chance that she will. if it does work, i'd say that she is the most deserving of winning, which is tough for me to admit, since she has easily been my most hated houseguest this season.
*ingenious, i meant. agreed about Jeff, TexasFight...also have watched since season 2, and he is close to the top of the most normal, level-headed people they have cast. last year's winner was up there, too.
What's funny is that there's actually a lot of truth to it, even though they came up with it as a "lie." With that said, it sounds like Jeff is coming around and realizing it's a numbers game... I'm crossing my fingers. imo, the dumbest move ever made in this game was when Howie allowed the Nerd Herders to oust James with his HOH, instead of going after their ringleaders... and numbers screwed them the rest of the way. This would be just as bad. You might not can fully trust everyone in your alliance, but when the other team still has a very healthy number (three), you can't afford to cut loose one of your own. Not yet. And yes, I've watched this show for a while as well, and Jeff and Jordan are two of the most genuine people I think I've ever seen on there. I think a lot of people just suspect them as "fake" because they're so used to the typical nutjobs.
Can you elaborate on this? You can use a spoiler if you'd like. I saw her for a brief second last night talking to the cameras and saying what a great move this is, but I missed the part about the actual move. And like some others have said, Jordan and Jeff are real. You can tell if you watch the After Hours stuff. No way they could keep up the facade 24/7 if it wasn't real. One thing I DIDN'T know was that they are 9 years apart. And yes, there are pics of Jordan and Michelle out there. VERY nice pics of Jordan......................
i think this is a little too minor to use spoiler tags, since nothing has come of it yet, just quit reading now if every little thing that hasn't been aired ruins it for you. in a nutshell, she has hatched a plan to keep all 3 of them (kevin, natalie, and lydia) in the house this week and send russell packing. she devised a lie for the 3 of them to unrelentingly swear to, where kevin supposedly overheard from the storage room, russell and michelle conspiring in the other room to evict jeff. basically saying that russell said that they need to get jeff out immediately. additionally, she had kevin be the one to approach jeff about it, since he would be the only one of the 3 of them that jeff trusts to any extent, and kevin told jeff the story in a convincing, non-suspicious manner. jeff and jordan were already buying into it bigtime as of last night, but the kicker was they think that it may be in their best interest to keep russell until next week anyway.
I think your failure to realize my musings on your condition were nothing more than a farce by which to show you the idiocy in the psychobabble you consistently try to plug into the most ridiculous scenarios. Please continue to act like a 3rd rate Dr. Phil with a Patrick Bateman complex. You're not even being original, there was before you who did that on this board and he was at least entertaining. I laugh at your pseudo-intellectual pondering.
Interesting. This is around the time that everyone gets super paranoid - even in their own alliance - now that the other side of the house is weak and everyone sees the writing on the wall that at some point they have to take each other out in their own alliance. Hopefully if Jeff is smart -he'll confront Russ/Michelle in a non-threatening way to find out what is going on. I think he'll handle it fine - he seems to be a very rational person in this game -even if he can't spell for ****.
Yeah, I think Jeff will see right through that. Can't blame Natalie for trying though. I can see how she thinks that might work. And it might. Jeff and Jordan have already talked about getting rid of Russell first, once it's down to just the 4 in their alliance.
Speaking of Natalie - I read that last week when she was a "have-not" she purposefully chose not to bathe or clean herself at all for the entire week. Apparently there is tons of footage of fellow HGs complaining about how disgusting Natalie smells. Gross.
i would have thought so too, but as of last night, jeff was livid up in the HOH room talking with jordan about it. also, i'm always leery of production nosing into things and encouraging and helping convince people of stuff, so, you never know what they put in his head.
jeff and russ have made a few deals, russ swearing on his father and the like, and both have lived up to them. i'd be surprised if jeff is going to take these rumors at face value in light of that, but with the paranoia and eventually that everyone will turn on each other, who knows?
I've actually seen bits and pieces here and there throughout the past couple years, up to like 10-12 minutes (of the NON- nudey scandalous stuff). You'd figure I'd understand the concept from that. Yes it did look Real World-ish to me. Was just adding my 2 cents since it was coincidentally on TV. I thought I was giving it the benefit of the doubt by giving it some credit. I believe in the dont knock it til you tried it thing. But if it still came across as outright bashing, I need to work on my approach
I do question grown men who sit around a campfire discussing who's real and who's fake among useless, untalented strangers in a catty manner. But then again I'm not a fan of people who call Kobe and Tiger fake because of their on court persona's and press interviews; it's just an opinion that deserves a serious response. Why IS the show so popular among some people if it's not about measuring yourself up against nobodies who do nothing all day?
how ironic. seems like the show would be right up your alley since the motive of your posts is to measure yourself up against anonymous BBS posters. doesn't take a trained psych to tell you that you have serious insecurity issues.
I make my tastes for things clear, that doesn't equate to insecurity. I can also interact with posters and have conversations that play off their words and opinions; the same can't be said for Big Brother fans. So why does the show appeal to you cardpire? Ima drummer? Don't fear me, I only seek answers.
uh, no, but your judging people for their tastes sure does. i watch the show because i think it's a good game and it is entertaining to me. why do you watch the rockets play basketball?
