Perhaps I'm slow, but Jimmy is upset at the end because he can no longer afford that office space because he had to give back the bribe? Wasn't the bribe only 30k? Surely that can't be the difference between being able to afford that space or not?
It was probably his down payment I assume? And yes he's definitely upset that he can't get the office space anymore.
Not about that at all, I think. Probably upset at the whole situation. Helped her get the clients back etc, which is in conflict with his own goals.
Saul was strapped for cash before getting that $30,000. He purchased designer suits, a bill board, and other expenses. Sure, his business took off a bit afterwards, but he probably just broke even. Now, he's returning all the cash and I think he's back to nothing saved. I think he is depressed he has to let go of the office, including Yung-T's points. He's likely going back to slipping Jimmy.
But that is in-turn about having to give up the bribe, the clients, the fee... all because he not only has a soft spot for her (remember, she was on the verge of losing her job), but he's also got a moral compass.
Didn't he receive 500k in advance from the guy that wants to establish his own nation? He spent money for suit, billboard etc immediately after that, so I don't think it's about the bribe money, he should have a lot stashed somewhere.
And aside from it being fake money, the billboard stunt came first. The publicity that led to the phone calls for the odd jobs came after.
He's German. If this was a German show, probably not too many of us would have been able to spot a wrong face on high denominational EURs, while you're trying to translate the dialogue of local dialect, in this case a Texas accent, too. Aside from the face, the rest was perfect.
The speaking is absolutely no problem, I actually am better in understanding English in all kinds of dialects than many native speakers (had special tests for college and scored extremely high, also see it when people here sometimes say they didn't understand something because of mumbling, dialects etc). Think it's either not knowing the Dollar notes too well or just not paying too much attention when it happened.
Watched the most recent episode last night. Great stuff. I felt bad for Jimmy at the end. That damn blonde better realize Jimmy is the best she can do.
Considering that Saul is single, as far as we know, in BB I would assume it's not going to end on a happy note with them two.
