I thought he was an older Data from Goonies. I was expecting a boxing glove to fly out of his backpack or something. I thought it was funny how they kept wincing while Grimes kept chopping. 15 chops, 15 winces.
Nice 3rd episode. Not zombie packed or anything, but def. a setup for the next episode. Lovin' the show...but it's only a 8 episode season? That's kind of short compared to other tv series.
Actually it's a 6 episode first season. Fortunately though a second season has been picked up already and we will get another 13 episodes then.
Glad a friend told me about this series. It's been pretty good so far. And "World War Z" is an awesome book. I'd love to see that as a mini-series at some point.
I thought the show was really lame and cheesy when I first tried to watch it, of course i started watching like 20 min in. Started it over again from the beginning and now I think I'm hooked, my girl and I watched the first 2 episodes last night.
Regarding the 3rd episode... Spoiler I was ticked off enough that they were going back to rescue that bigot, but now that he's freed himself they're obviously going to devote a large part (if not all) of the next episode to finding him. He's such a poorly written character...I don't know why they have given him so much focus. They could have easily written in a scenario where a likable character got left behind...
Spoiler Alls I gotta say is... that one guy that got his ass handed to him by the cop for slapping his wife... God damn... the amount of times he got punched... he should've died. Great 3rd episode though.
It would be less interesting. Spoiler The fact that he isn't a likable character is what adds the interest to the story and builds on the character of the guys who went back to look for him.
Spoiler Why saw your hand off when you have a hacksaw? I think I would have tied to cut the cuffs or the rod they were latched to, but I'm not an ignorant cracker.
