I'm with you - there has to be a good storyline in between all the fighting otherwise it turns into just another bad action movie. We don't want 1-dimensional stories. BTW - I liked the way Glen went nuts stomping on the zombie from the truck. I agree that he has come a LONG way since the first few episodes.
Well.. he did bring her sister back alive Glen is like the Walter White of the show. But where will his newly found badassery lead him??? To break....... bad???
I couldn't agree more.... I went ahead and read through all of them and man I wish they could have done a better job bringing her in.
So true man. You'd think they'd learn. They started making Carl more like his comics counterpart and now people don't hate him nearly as much as they used to. If they had simply made Michonne and Andrea's characters closer to their comics portrayals, those two would seriously be on Daryl level in likability. Tyrese so far seems promising. Hopefully they don't f him up too.
That Michonne actress is tuhribble!! She always has the same facial expression, never says a word, and is so damn irritable. Given the choice between Michonne and a zombie, I would probably shoot Michonne. Twice. By accident of course.
Her overall storyline was much better in the comics, no really sure why they switched it up so much, I can get the change in the Governor but her plot is just pretty off.
Yeah, Michonne comes off as an ad hoc companion to Andrea on the TV series, who, with a gimp leg, is just another mouth to feed at this point.
Didn't really enjoy the whole scene where Rick was flipping out at the end. Seemed a bit forced. Good episode nonetheless.
I think that scene feels more organic if the episodes are watched back to back since it's only been a few episodes since Rick had his phone episode.
watched it last night after hearing 3 of my co-workers talk about how disappointing the episode was. going in with zero expectations, as opposed to most who were hoping for something like the mid-season finale, it was actually a good episode. not great by any means, but good.
