His point was that they have pretty much revealed that Merle will die and Darryl will survive. Cliffhanger FAIL.
You turn when you die no matter what, but somehow getting bit kills you. Get bit, die, turn. Unless of course you can amputate a limb in which case you can still survive a la Herschel.
And I thought Rick was over his psychological problems. Wonder how many more times we will see Shane again in the next half.
Truly great episode, but knowing it's a couple of months before the next one left me hanging (and very disappointed). In other words, the writers accomplished their mission perfectly.
Big difference in shooting at a slow as molasses walker and a living human that's running horizontally in your field of vision.Rick didn't have much trouble nailing the guy coming straight at him. Also they had just found those guns at the prison and haven't practiced with them, due to ammo concerns.
Umm, not really. They also showed Glenn yelling at someone in the woods, saying "Why'd you bring HIM here!?" Seems like the only person that Glenn would be that upset at seeing would be Merle.
I agree, can't really imagine they wouldn't make more of the Darryl/Merle reunion.People have been waiting for this since the first episode of season 1.
She just found out at the end of the episode. What did you expect her to do? Whip out a gun in front of a bloodthirsty mob, many of them armed, to demand the release of someone she hadn't seen in 8 months and had only met a couple of weeks before she got separated from the group?
Spoiler In the Feb sneak peak you can see smoke in the area where Daryl and Merle are (where they do the gladiator boxing ****)... Darly probably let one smoke bomb loose and both of them escape.. You Then see glen getting mad pointing his gun @ someone (hencing Merle is alive.)
Wow, you guys need to label what the spoiler is about! I don't watch previews and I just clicked on a spoiler tag thinking it was about the current episode, but it was about the preview for the next....
Gonna predict that Daryl gets gunned down by Andrea, Merle survives and inexplicably joins the Prison group, who all head back to Woodbury to put some lead in people/walkers.
Don't watch if you don't want to be spoiled. (dosen't really show much but this answers your post) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AlWCPHpICBU?list=PLC7EC9FB2E211A261&hl=en_US" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
My bet would be that both Darryl and Merle somehow survive. There's some real interesting stuff they can show about them reuniting. Merle would now have hatred for the Governor. He'd need Rick's group to exact his revenge but there's obviously a lot of conflict there. Merle's in no mans land with nobody buy his brother who's also loyal to the group. A lot of potential interesting dynamics going on that I'm sure the show would want to explore before killing any of them off.
Contains spoilers if you aren't caught up. Actor's interview about season... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tVoSFn18n6s?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
