QUESTION: It takes about a year for a body to decompose . . . if you able to survive for over a year . . . a majority of the Zombies should be reduces to just bone by then . . .right?

Usually the best way to survive zombies in the long run is to lay low for a while and let them die out of starvation.

Is there a thread on how to survive a zombie apocalypse? I'd like to know what others would do since these people are doing some stupid stuff.

Regarding the decomposition, I think the book said something like they decompose slower since most bodily functions shut down. But zombies in Kirkman's universe probably have their own rules: dexterity to turn door knobs, sitting in a church. I don't understand why there were corpses in the cars either.

    A Zombieland TV series?

    http://screenrant.com/zombieland-tv-series-fox-sandy-136836/

I guess it was inevitable after the ridiculous ratings (7.3 Million viewers) The Walking Dead premiere got.

If you add up all the viewers who watch Breaking Bad or Mad Men combined, it would still only be half of all the viewers who watch Walking Dead.

I would not be surprised if we saw indian zombies in Hell on Wheels at some point.

My friends and I have developed an emergency contingency plan for a zombie invasion or global societal crash. In the event of either, we plan on taking a cruise ship or carrier, and living it until we find hospitable, safe land to take refuge. We figure with all the space we might be able to farm and keep livestock.

Every person gets a least one mate, since the world's going to need repopulating and our new society needs to grow to thrive. We also plan on writing a giant ass book with the history of world, to be read by the 1st generation when they come of age.

Maybe I'll swing by and pick you up. Do you have a skill we could use? Doctor? Farmer? Good with a gun? Hot female?

Heading onto the water is a good start, but a large ship would require a lot of fuel, and if it takes you a while to find hospitable land you could end up stranded in the ocean. A series of smaller sailboats could work better since they don't rely on fuel and it could be easier to fish (you'll be eating a lot of fish on the trip). It would reduce the amount of space you have to transport supplies and people though.

Maybe have the carrier drop anchor somewhere while scouts sail out to look for land.

We've been discussing that, we were hoping that we'd be able to rig a solar panel or find something that's nuclear power. But a 2nd, smaller boat for scouting would be benefical.

How does a future doctor currently in residency sound? Got a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, prior EMT experiences, own a M19 pistol and a hunting bow.

I'd join the scouting party, fish, or guard just put a gun in my hand. I'd be willing to do anything that ensures survival of the human race. Am I accepted?

to restock the human race you would have to procreate in a less vulnerable manner, maybe by skydiving in tandem.

As long as you're not some sort of annoying prick or some orange skinned, spiked hair, no shirt douchebag you're in.
