Let the dumbass kid do whatever he wants and of course that'll happen. And I forgot about hating the commercial breaks that popped up every 8-9 minutes. Spoiler No way someone tries to shoot the dear without realizing stupid carl is right in the line of fire
Just a thought but are we really going to have to spoiler every post after an episode? I imagine people would know if they haven't seen the episode yet not to come into this thread because people are going to be talking about it
Spoiler What was the kid doing walking up on the deer? You're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and you let your annoying kid have a Disney moment like he's freaking Snow White with birds landing on his hands and raccoons cooing at his feet? And no, the kid doesn't die. You could see he got shot on the right side below the level of the heart and in the previews he's still around. Puncturd lung, maybe a perforated intestine, bleeding liver... whatever it is, the kid hangs around at least long enough for more soul searching and despair by the cop, wife, and buddy. By the way, these people are a bunch of losers. Everyone knows you don't go to a military installation during a zombie outbreak. I would skedaddle away from those know-nothings as quickly as I could. Maybe talk cross-bow guy into coming with me as he's the only one worth anything. Also, the church thing was ridiculous. Southern Baptists only have the cross, they don't have Jesus on the cross. That's a Catholic thing. It was like some weird mish-mash of religious iconography, a church version of a Vanilla Ice song.
The episode already aired, please stop with the spoiler tags. If people are too stupid to realize that a thread about a show is going to talk about the latest episode during and after it's aired, they deserve to have it spoiled. Spoilers are when you know something that's going to happen before it's released. So unless anybody here has read the scripts, watched screeners of the first few episodes, were on set, or are privy to inside info, you don't have any spoilers. Some of these complaints are stupid. If this was just about a group of super elite zombie killers, it would get boring fast. The fact that they are human and make mistakes is where the drama, conflict, tension, and all the other good stuff come from.
Just rename the show and call it: The Walking Commercial PS, Maybe it's just me, but I thought everything looked very low budget compared to last season.
how? they were in the woods 80% of the time? do you mean like make up job on the zombies? A poster earlier said they were cutting budget due to mad men. I didn't notice it in the first episode. I agree with rocketriver but not everybody has read world war z.
I really liked the shift to old-school style horror flick. The over-kills are awesome. And probably therapeutic for the group. OTOH, old-school style horror flick stupid decisions remain. Go Team Darryl.
Spoiler Location could be influenced by a lower budget, so the characters are funneled into the woods, because that's cheaper to produce.
If I recall correctly there were barely any commercials at the beginning of the show. Towards the end there were a lot so it all evens out. Didnt look low budget to me. Cool show.
pretty good so far. I agree the kid not being seen while shooting the deer is a little bit of a leap of faith but i could be possible.
Some of the characters in this show infuriate me with their stupidity. Then I remember that many people in real life also infuriate me with their stupidity, and suddenly the show becomes very convincing.
can you list an example or even a critique? my problem with people's complaints is this "I hate the actress" you don't hate the actress! you hate the character for making poor choices. that's good TV! what about this show, in the world of a zombie apocalypse, (lol) is unrealistic? the fact that viewers are glued to their tv, yelling at characters at every little decision they make, is good TV!
How does a 12 year old girl escape Darryl who's probably hunted humans before? He's like the Ron Swanson of Georgia.
