Yeah, I agree. I thought it was great that we went through 3/4 of the show with only one walker. There's going to be lulls and there's going to be chaos. I enjoyed it.
At this rate, the final episode will be them getting back in the caravan and moving on. I'm not sure I know of another show that covers so little per episode.
Darryl's kill in this episode was the highlight for me. Besides that, I still think this show is highly overrated.
one thing i did notice...it seemed that the zombies got faster. I don't remember them semi jogging like they did in the end of the last episode
Well...let's not get into a semantics game here. When I say "about zombies" I figure it's a given that it's actually about the people dealing with the zombies.
he's been too busy dealing with his fellow idiot travels to take the time to put on clean clothes. it's not like they were in a department store... what happened to wearing protection like they did in the second episode. the two guys came out wearing full protective suits and gave a beat down with bats on a zombie when they first met the cop. i would have that on me at all times. i want a zombie show that isn't dealing with amateur zombie survivors.
They sort of explained that in the Talking Dead. The executive producer I think said that older shriveled zombies would be slow and the fresher zombies were faster since their bodies haven't detierorated as much.
didnt' see that. So i'm guessing that the school was relatively recently overrun? I would have assumed it had fallen soon after the rest, but maybe they will give more detail on that later.
I only discovered this show this past weekend...in which I watched all of Season One on Netflix. Then, I caught up on Season 2 on Sunday. I guess I didn't notice this show thread (or was ignoring it unintentionally) and found my channels custom favorites list was excluding the AMC channel (oops). I really like the show. It's near the top of my list for anything I've seen from the genre. I would much rather watch this show than many of the crap movies that have come out of the genre. Does anyone know how many seasons are planned for this show?
that might have been the best episode. Outside of Rick's incoherent rambling, the characters made a lot more sense this episode. And I'll even let Rick's **** slide if they begin developing as a mentally weak guy which it appears they may be doing
As long as they can, I would imagine. The comic is probably 8 seasons in, in terms of how they've paced the content....that may give you a good idea.
Strong episode outside of the conversation between Andrea and the mother. That was absolutely horrible acting and I had no idea what the purpose of the conversation was or where it was going. Totally odd and it's only saving grace was when Daryl broke it up. While I can understand why Rick might still be wearing his uniform, I would like to see them examine it a little more. Why hasn't anyone questioned it yet? And man, where the hell did that little girl go that they still can't find her. Next time she darts off into the woods when a zombie chases her, they should leave her. Andrea, go shoot yourself if you don't care about living. Stop taking it out on Dale. T-Dog, your useless, just die already. And I'd like to see them give Glenn more time.
Haha right? The episode was very season 3-5 LOST-esque. Nothing happens for the first 55 minutes then the final 5 makes you excited for the next episode. I wanted to slap Rick so many times, he kept trying to come up with reasons to leave his dieing son. Rick: Oh I have to go get my wife! Shane: No Rick, you need to stay with your son. He needs you and your blood. The Vet: Alright I need medical supplies, who is willing to go get them? I must warn you, Carl may die during the time period it takes to travel to the highschool and back so I need a volunteer who will not be devastated if that were to happen... Rick excitedly makes his way to the door: Thats me! Sorry Shane, despite the fact that you are a perfectly able-bodied person to carry out that mission, I am Carl's Dad and you are not so he needs you by his side not me! It only makes sense that I go. 10 minutes later. Shows Rick with a puzzled/bored look trying to make his way out the door again Rick: Its been 30 minutes! I should go check on Shane at the school The Vet: No Rick, you just gave blood and you're borderline passing out. Another 15 minutes later. Rick (slumped over looking like a ghost staring out the window): Otis! That fat guy I just met who shot my son, I'm worried about him...he needs me! Let me leave!!!! The Vet is shown shaking his head as he pulls bullets out of Carl
I can understand his view as a Father and a Husband, wanting to do the right thing for his family, but at the same time it bored me to death as a viewer watching this episode.
These actors/actresses suck. Their emotions suck. The ideas they come up with suck. The cheerleaders suck. ...and what a boring episode.
