    Great post.

Cody's dad's death will more than likely lead to everyone finding out how f'd up Norman's head really is. Couldn't believe how he erupted at Cody for letting Emma do the jump. Also could see (good acting) at how crazy Norman is becoming when he flipped out on his mom and told her he'd walk home. And then so freakishly, she gives him a kiss and sends him on his way.

And agree with you on Romero. That guy (Nestor Carbonell) plays the part so well...plus he adds a giant wildcard aspect to everything going on in the story. I thought he and Norma were going to have a go at it when she was playing nurse to him. I'd bet that is going to happen at some point in the future.

Four more episodes this season...can't wait to see how much more f'd up White Pine Bay can get.

Plus, just saw on Wikipedia...looks like A&E has signed on for season 3 (10 more episodes).

exactly, all the work norma has done to keep norman out of the spot light is beginning to unravel. it's much more than cody's dad dying (no one cares about him.) the preview makes it seem like norma is shifting gears in her efforts to protect norman now that she knows what happens when she gives norman freedom

Norman sure gets a lot of action for an awkward loony.

DVR'd it. Hope to watch it this afternoon.

Did catch a few minutes of the aftershow...and let me tell you...it was like peeking behind the curtain and seeing who Oz really was. I did not know that Emma was English...and has a bloody horrid accent. And Nestor Carbonell is not a badass in real life.

Next thing you know...someone will tell me the tooth fairy is not real.

    Boo.

I'm confused as to what imaginary Norma reveals at the end.

she told norman that she killed the teacher and that norman has to protect her. the look on his face at the very end is kind of his "crossing the rubicon" moment. he turned into the psycho right there.

this show is freaking great and im the only one i know who watches it. i think the time slot might be a problem. if they were smart they would put the show on at 9 sunday. it is basically geared for the same audience that watches breaking bad and walking dead and we are all sitting here waiting for something to watch in that slot.

Great show. I cannot wait for the next season. That look he made at the end was really creepy and shows that he has a lot more mayhem ahead of him.

A bit silly that they'd hinge his guilt on a polygraph though.

Romero doesn't want to open the case back up, but he did want to clear his conscience, this accomplishes that for him. The guy who did the test is not involved with law enforcement in an official capacity.

I haven't really followed this show as diligently as Breaking Bad or The Wire... so maybe I'm just missing out on part of the plot.

Dylan's partner in the weed biz said that he's been a veteran of the operation for years. What made Dylan, a newbie to the industry suddenly start calling the shots over a 20+ year vet? Seems odd to me.

You aren't the only one even though I typically watch Tuesday night. I thought season 2 was pretty impressive and that final shot of Norman was excellent....

Ok I am glad I am not the only one. This is something I really do not understand either. He got the job and was instantly king of the drug game.

I do like how he boned the head lady. She was damn fine.

Finally finished watching the last episode yesterday. Wow. That's about all I can say. Many unexpected plot turns throughout. It's pretty interesting to see how things start to unravel for Norma and Norman. Somehow, the writers need to get things back on track are else there won't be anyone left alive to continue on another season or two.

For just fun, I've done some thinking on how future plots will be carried out...

    - Eventually, Norman will become the judge, jury and executioner to anyone that deviates from the perfect world standards that his mother has implanted into his head. This includes...

    - Romero shagging Norma...which pisses Norman off. So the sheriff's dead.

    - Bradley returns. Norman eventually gets pissed off because she rejected his advances for a more serious relationship. Bradley's dead.

    - Christine turns into a colder b**** to Norma. Pisses Norman off. Christine is now gone.

    - Dylan is now the local pot lord. Eventually, someone is going to want to come in and take over Nick Ford's business. Some thugs will rough up Norma. Norman gets pissed. Dylan is either forced to leave for good or Norman takes him down.

The one thing I've got to say about this show (and I'll preface it by saying I do not watch many tv shows), the acting is fantastic!!! Every character is very believable. Never would've guess that Emma and Norman were English. They mask their accents really well.

    Can't wait for season 3!!

First episode was somewhat meh...but it's been a long time since I was intertwined with the show. I guess I've got to build back up to it.

The writers are really introducing a weird,
quasi-incestual vibe with Norman and Norma. While the local drug scene plot is starting to get a little played out...I can see some interesting things coming from Dylan wanting to back out of it...and Romero no longer providing him protection.

My guess (after Norman telling Emma they should date)...is that at some point, a combination of his mom doing something stupid or dying and Emma dying will eventually push Norman so far off the edge...he can never come back.

I'm now a couple of episodes behind because I lost interest. IMO, things are dragging and it seems like this will be the final season.

I might catch up after UNC finishes demolishing Syracuse.
