Ummmm...Norma is in some serious trouble! And, what the heck was Dylan thinking by Spoiler taking Bradley to her dad's old office. Now that d-bag he works with has something to hold over Dylan's head with the d-bag employer drug dude. And the writers of this show have found a way to create a situation that makes me feel really uncomfortable, yet my imagined outcome of the situation never materializes. i.e.... Spoiler when Norma goes up and gets into bed with Norman. Or when the teacher and Norman get really close, I keep waiting for one of them to go to kiss the other. Stuff that seems so out of place seems likes it's always on the verge of happening, but it never does. I suspect that at some point in the future, the writers will make something from way out in left field happen and it will probably shoot this show in another odd tangent. Boy, after last night's episode, the writers have set themselves up nicely for the finale and a great lead-in to next season. Already can't wait.
Lots of squirm inducing moments last night. The writers have really hovered around some weirdness with Norma and the teacher but really pushed it last night. Like you said its always on the verge of happening but never does. Season finale should be great stuff.
Damn I was waiting for Norman to make out with the teacher. She was getting so close to him and staring down at his lips. That would of been epic
So, it would appear obvious that Norman Spoiler killed his teacher, Miss Watson. Some people think that maybe Bradley did it, (the teacher had a necklace with the letter "B" on it..). I still think it was Norman.
That wouldn't make any sense at all plus we've seen Norman have these blackouts earlier in the season and they've always been during spurts of violence on his part. Add in the Norma part, I think it's obvious he did the deed. So what about Romero? Good guy or just an even bigger bad guy?
I think he just wants to keep the peace - at whatever cost necessary. A Cop with vigilante tactics. He knows whats going on in the town, but as long as its not making trouble..he lets it go. As soon as it gets out of hand, he does whatever he has to do to get it back under wraps.
Good call, the one question I had was how he ended up with the money which he ended up throwing away.
That's what confused me to because up to that point, I'd assumed he was being honest with Abernathy i.e. being the lead crime dog in his town.
i dont think he is a passive spectator. he is neck deep in all the shenanigans going on in town. Spoiler he demanded abernathy give him half of what he made in town. he is probably also getting a cut from the pot growers, which is why he doesnt bust any of them, even when those hippies at the hotel were smoking out infront of him.
If, as a part of police procedure, he searched his former deputies house after his death then its conceivable that he found the money there (since we know that either he or the former hotel owner had the money to begin with). My guess is Romero probably threw the money away so it wouldn't tie him to the murder of Abernathy. Plus, if he is getting a cut of the pot $$ he doesn't need it.
He didn't cut a deal Abernathy, he was just getting him to drop his guard to kill him. That's not to say he doesn't have a deal with the Pot dealers.
I was thinking he could've killed Abernathy as soon as he stepped out of the car. No need to get him to "drop his guard". I guess there needed to be a scene.
So the sheriff supports pot but not selling sex slaves. Sounds to me like his priorities are in the correct order.
Kind of looks that way, to me at least. Romero doesn't seem to be a black & white morals type of guy though.
