Uh, no. That was grade school for me, but I guess we all progress at different rates. The onus is on you to prove your point. I understand it is a lawyers first impulse to ask a question instead of answer one, but I see no reason why that is beneficial to this discourse.

I hardly ignored the point. In fact, I only asked you to prove your statement. Instead of doing that you tried to move on while being non-responsive.

It is irresponsible, if not straight up dangerous, to insinuate that most HIV transmission is from hookers rather than from normal promiscuity. The reason I asked you to prove your point is that I doubt you've seen any numbers on the subject, or you'd know that most HIV transmission comes from casual sex, or from needle sharing etc, not from sex with hookers (at least in the States). The average person is far MORE LIKELY to get HIV from someone they are not in a monogamous relationship with than from a hooker. In fact, you state that 'plenty of people' get HIV from 'one' night with a hooker. Yet I still see no backing for that statement.

Because I asked you to show some proof to your assertion?

You obviously read things into my posts that were not there.

NOWHERE did I say most, a substantial percentage, or anything of the sort. I just said that it happened plenty. It is like any other form of risky behavior. I nowhere singled it out as being any more likely than any other form of risky behavior. I mentioned it specifically due to the subject matter of the thread.

Certainly you can't be saying that a guy spending one evening with a hooker hasn't resulted in transmission of HIV. You have based a lot of what you are saying on the assumption that I said that a hooker is the primary way to contract HIV. I never said that and to say that would be ludicrous. Just as ludicrous as it would be to say that it has never happened.

 

I realize you were kidding...but there is nobody on my ignore list and never will be. Generally if somebody is obnoxious enough for me to censor what they say then what they have done ends up getting them banned.

Hayes and I agree on some things and disagree on quite a few things. To me...it's all good. I think that Hayes and I have an understanding of where each other comes from. I respect Hayes and I like to think it is a mutual respect.

 

It seems that the American flag works wonders for pretty much everything these days.

If I was thirteen again, I'd replace the fireman and make him my hero...
