I Believe! This is the kind of stuff that makes the next game a must see! This is what this team has been missing! The energy and intensity should definatley travel with them throughout the next few games and maybe even the whole season if we continue to win over the better teams. I BELIEVE! *can already invision the World Championship 2005 Rockets video with T-mac going up and shooting a 3pter in slow motion with "I believe I can fly" song in the background* lol :D

OMG what an amazing game. this game is the most exciting rox game since game 1 of the 1995 nba finals against the magic. Tmac with one of the greatest displays of clutchness ever. He is the best clutc player on the rox, no doubt, maybe in our history. Man, what a game, what a game, wha a game....

I had similar vision with "we are the champions" instead. This game had released so much pleasant chemicals in my brain, I'm experiencing the crash right now.

The Rockets lay the foundation of the new Clutch City.

Agreed. We are getting no production out of our PF's, its hard to win games like that-especially in the West.

But like ya'll said, hopefully a win like this can ignite the fire.

Hook up the wagon to those two studs.

Let the train roll, Yao and TMac keep the fire burning you can take control...

Get up each morning guys and put this team on your shoulders.

It's time for Yao and TMac to make there statement to the league.

    GO ROCKETS!

Seriously, all things considered waiting 20 games for the light to go on and hear a bit of a click ain't all that bad. Hell we're almost a .500 team!

And did ya see McGrady after the game last night? Dude was tearin' up, he said Sorry, but nothing like this has ever happened to me! like he won a feckin' ring. It's GREAT news for us, 'cause that feeling gets addictive.

This is the time for us to make a push we have a pretty nice Dec.

    Thu, Dec 2 at Dallas L 106-113
    Sat, Dec 4 Philadelphia W 77-76
    Tue, Dec 7 New Orleans W 89-81
    Thu, Dec 9 San Antonio W 81-80

Sat, Dec 11 Dallas 8:30 pm
Wed, Dec 15 Atlanta 8:30 pm
Fri, Dec 17 Golden State 8:30 pm
Sat, Dec 18 at Charlotte 7:00 pm
Mon, Dec 20 Toronto 8:30 pm
    Charlotte
    Clippers
    Bucks
    Cleveland
    Bucks

If we somehow beat Dallas I could seriously see us go on a 13 game winning streak! TMac has been picking up his game and it seems Yao is finally getting out of his slump! Who Believes?!

I was at the game last night was so freaking frustrated until the miracle finish...I was trying to start a chant of "Fire Gundy" but it never caught on. I am so sick of watching the shot clock run down without even setting up the offense. We have Yao and T-Mac, there's no reason we should have to jack up shots with the clock running down. Van Gundy NEEDS to change his offensive philopsophy. It's no coincidence that T-Mac hit all those shots once they stopped runny Gundy's offense. It just seems that his offense bogs scorers down and ruins any kind of flow to the game. The players seem AFRAID to shoot. Did you see Sura wide open at the three point line several times and not shoot, and then he finally shot a two pointer and airballed; Mo-T looks so out of sink, he used to be automatic on the 15 foot jumper and that sweeping hook he HAD!!! Please JVG, Please stop being so damm stubborn and change your offensive mentality or you will be joining Marv and Kerr at TNT next season!!!!!

It's not the turn point. It is a low probability event that did happen, but will not happen a lot. Next game we will go back to the same old, same old. Fire Gundy song will be chanted again.

The first 47 minutes is the real rockets we consistantly saw night in and night out. There is no reason they will be a different one by next game, until something dramatic change happens (coaching or personels).

The first 47 minutes of tough gritty Houston defense? I guess your right and I hope we can continue to play that great defense in our next game and hopefully our guys can make some shots too.

Forget the last minute. You didn't notice the improvements?

Come back after we hold Dallas to under 90. Win or lose, and tell me you didn't see improvements.

hmmm... a different question for your guys..

    Is JVG actually adjusting?

    1. we seem to be taking shots earlier in the shot clock
    2. we have heard that JVG game Tmac and Yao the green light to shoot.
    3. we seem to be trying to run fastbreaks not successfully but we are trying.
    4. JVG seems to have taken the reigns off of Yao and TMac at least recently and our big two seem to be better off because of it.

    J

*side note Notice Yao's slams have been rocking the backboard lately?

I still want JVG gone but I see it as a turning point in confidence between Yao and Tmac. If we can pull off a win like that against the best team in the nba, we should be able to beat anyone. Now if we can only beat Dallas, it will prove that we are getting there.
